So happy Adam is well enough to do the Milan concert. Hope he relaxes for the 2 days after. Anne Marie

I hope it is not to soon, for him i still have a cough hope he had a different kind, have been praying for him.

So sick of all the worrywarts. Adam will do what's best and it'll be fine. Oh yeah I guess I'm not a true fan because I'm not obsessively worried for Adam's safety and wellbeing in every conceivable way.

I'm sure Adam has consulted a doctor again as to his progress toward healing. I just hope it's not too soon! I sound like a worried mother hen...I know:) can't help it...I love him to pieces.

Yay so glad he is doing better, and just take it easy for the next two nights after that Adam. Please no mike action either. Lol

Excuse me don't know who you are but you don't sound like a nice person yes I do worry about Adam yes I do care yes he is grown man but some times you get in a contract you push a little to hard been there know what it is like.Sorry you don't like my concerns because I don't like yours.Sorry this is not my usual self but some times I just get ticked.----blueeyes01

9:55....Simple solution......Stop reading the comment section that is making you "so sick".....;)

@9:55
Have you no heart, or concern for Adam's health?
I have never heard of anyone getting severe bronchitis and getting over it in 2 days. I think Adam is going to do his best, and not disappoint over 12,000 people. Or disappoint Queen by cancelling again. Men are usually their own worst enemies, when it comes to their health. If he can get this one night done, and it looks like a totally full list of songs, none left out, maybe he can rest again for a couple of days.
9:55 is the only comment that makes me feel sick. Adam is not doing what's best as you put it, he is going against common sense,
but the show must go on, regardless.

They need to cancel more dates. There is no way Adam has gotten over Broncitis in 2 days. People may be disappointed but that's better then risking permanently damaging Adam's voice.

9:55 PM, I agree, excessive worrying.

And once again somebody who does not have a popular opinion gets yelled at. This needs to stop. We won't always agree. If you want your opinion please allow others to have theirs.

10:36 PM, what a stereotype statement about men. For you and others, Adam is a smart adult and can make safe decisions in consultation with his doctor and Queen. There is insurance if shows need to be canceled. Stop projecting yourself into the situation.

Wishing Adam well for the Milan show.

@11:00 It's not a popular opinion, it's just a concern about Adam. You don't feel there is any need for concern about Adam and we do. Severe bronchitis, is not some minor ailment, especially where it concerns Adam. I think he will pull it off, by singing in a lower key. He has done that before, and only his fans know.
Everyone has a right to their opinion, but this was about someone seemingly quite callous about Adam and his health.

9:55 PM, you were right. You trust Adam to care for his own health so you must not be a true fan. Your opinion is invalid. You are callous to the seriousness of the situation. For shame.

12:19 ok we get it,how many times are you going to talk to yourself on this thread.

We don't really know the physical situation so what is the point of the arguing? It was termed a bronchial infection, perhaps it was zapped with an antibiotic and he rested 'silently' and he is well enough to perform. We don't know, so let's leave it to the professionals.

It's too bad people can't have differing opinions without somebody getting upset :(

@JAK, agreed. I've no doubt at all that he's handling the situation as is needed. If he is taking an antibiotic it's amazing how soon one feels better. There's always so much pressure on the singer of a band, isn't there. As sick as Brian was prior to Adam, he still played that guitar amazingly and they still sounded fantastic.

@9:55PM,
The way you expressed your opinion, maybe some fans think that. For me, as long as Adam is healthy and confident enough that he is ready then so be it. Mostly fans here invested already for Adam's sake so, they have the right to be concern like me!:) We just want him to be safe and not ruin his voice.

Brian has a mammoth task as lead guitarist & back-up vocalist but at least he's not the lead singer singing 25 songs most nights. What I hope is that Adam doesn't do serious damage to his voice if he continues to sing when he isn't well. Adam is not a machine that can churn out many songs almost every night ad infinitum. He's a human being, not a robot!!!

JAK said...

I think we all agree he's human. We are arguing in circles.

Que sera sera..........

I don't even understand how he could damage his voice singing with bronchitis. It may affect his breathing or how long he can hold a note or run around on stage but that's it. It's not like he is singing with nodules.

Milan, then two days off till Stuttgart. By then, let's hope he's feeling much better. In Milan, we most likely won't hear WWTLF or TSMGO, but hey, he'll give the show all he's got. The crowd will know that he's been sick. They'll still love his performance. Luckily, there are no more back-to-back shows till the very last two, Liverpool and Sheffield. He's a professional. His voice is his livelihood. He'll be ok.

When ever I had bronchitis, it was accompanied with an awful cough, may be the doc was able to stop any coughing he might have had. Any way if I ever get bronchitis again, I am flying to Brussels to see the doctor. They seem to know what they are doing.
Good luck Adam, and have a great concert, we all love you.

JAK said...

I think I made this comment elsewhere......if so, forgive the repeat.
All bronchitis infections do not include coughing. Adam was not coughing during Frankfurt performance, yet he was diagnosed the next morning.

I had only a boulder pressing on my chest and backache with bronchitis. I'm assuming that's the symptoms Adam had. My doctor treated me with steroids and I was feeling better almost immediately. Now, I don't know if that was a treatment they would give Adam, but antibiotics would probably work quickly too.

.... If there has been any congestion in his lungs... Perhaps breathing treatments may have been thrown in there, too. Those work quite quickly, as well - like a charm. :)
