CAN'T get that 'Ghost Town' beat and whistle out of my head. That's a great sign!! April 21st, come on already. Can't they release it beforehand, do a sort of surprised release for all his worldwide fans!!!!

Also would be good.... For those of us who haven't, yet.... To subscribe to the Adam Official Youtube channel. I noticed there were only a few thousand (3,000 or so) subscribed; which means some of Glamberts (and newer fans) may not know about it. The number of subscribers via Youtube make a difference as well, or so is my understanding.

The button to reach it via the new updated AO website is in the row of buttons underneath the sign-up section: it's a little box with an arrow inside it (the YouTube logo)...

Just FYI :)

.... Don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence by my Youtube suggestion. Hard to believe, but I think today is the first time in 6yrs I've come across it? Could be just me, of course.

Just a mention for any who may find of benefit. :))

".... Don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence by my Youtube suggestion."

Yada, your above sentence has an unpleasant taste, unnecessary as well! attention-seeking somewhat, especially after that big hoo-ha! And if you think that was what I was saying on that thread...you are far, very far from my intention/contention.

Do like what 6:44 has done...just give it and leave it...very crisp and mature approach. I just clicked on her given link but not your direction which got lost in your quest for attention.

@7:25 usually they will release the song to dj's a week or two before, and if there's a leak. The song will be release early.

Hi Lam-My. I'm not quite sure how it came across differently... I did only mean it with good intentions.

It wasn't intended to be associated/directed toward anything negative at all. After I posted it, I wasn't sure if anyone may feel my description of the "box with the arrow in it" was rather silly or condensing as there are people who do know what Youtube buttons usually look like. (Though I go to Youtube, I actually didn't know at first and clicked on it out of curiosity)

At any rate, regardless, I meant well. In my heart I feel... If my post benefits anyone, that's a good thing. If not, that's okay, too. I hope that's a good place to be. :)

I certainly do enjoy and appreciate this Glambert community! Different people having different conversational/posting styles...

... How about you and I believe the best of eachother? :))

Lam-My said...

Right on Yada! You got it...believe in each other...I like that! so just forget it; perhaps the implication was still raw in my mind.

yada said...

Lam-My .... :-)))

It's all good!

Story time... Ghost Town

A forlorn-looking man with unkempt hair falling over his forehead, blocking his eyes...came walking into Ghost Town. You see a lot had happened since a great flood swept through Bert's hometown. When he left a couple of years ago, his Mom and Dad and dog Chewy were living in a small house down the road by the river.
Then one night, everything changed, the river overflowed its banks and huge tidal waves swept their house away. Bert survived the ordeal but had never heard from his parents again.
Now after two years Bert was back and went in search of his parents, after searching for them everywhere, in vain. The whole neighbourhood seemed dilapidated; an occasional old man or woman walked across the run-down broken pavements.
All of a sudden, Bert heard a whimper and he looked around. He followed the whimper and came to a half-broken-down stone house. Bert walked in and to his surprise, he heard something moving in a corner, seemed trapped and unable to get out of a narrow drainage tunnel. Bert peered in...a dog whimpered and not only that, it wagged its tail. Wow! Bert couldn't believe what he found; it was Chewy his dog! Bert crawled into the tunnel and removed a large piece of debri that was blocking Chewy which frantically rushed into Bert's extended arm. Slowly, Bert was able to pull Chewy out. Bert felt a surge of love from Chewy and he carried the little dog, a chihuahua in his arms to get him some food and clean him up. By the way, he was named Chewy because he loved to chew Bert's shoe-laces and because of that Bert always had to keep a box of shoe-laces whenever the old ones were chewed to bits. lwl!
Well, unfortunately, Bert still could not locate his parents...at least he got Chewy to remember them by because they often took Chewy for evening walks before their homestead became Ghost Town.

I would love to hear Ghost Town on Walking Dead, American Horor Stories, and/or All About Saul. Also I would love to see Adam on Empire. One fan wrote bunch of different scenrios that Adam can have a role on Empire.

Batman, ghostbusters

Thanks for sharing the links, guys. One easy way to open up links just by clicking over them is use Mercury or Dolphin browsers. Much easier than copy/paste.

Lam-My said...

11:04.....Yea Empire caught my attention and interest; very convincing because it's relevant to present day dog eat dog business world; very good acting. By the way, when the gay brother sang his song which required him to sing the oooooh note in 'true' you can see how difficult that is. If Adam is able to get on board that series, that is like flying on a magic carpet!
11:04 I see you have fallen in love with Saul. lwl!

Anonymous said...

Great story, Lam-my - you have a fertile imagination! :-) However, I don't think Chewy (love the name) would've survived a couple of years without food.

Lam-My said...

12:04.....Good observation; when I reread it after printing, it was a bit late to insert it. So I rationalise it as in... Chewy could have just got trapped there a couple of days; meanwhile some neighbours probably fed him on an irregular basis. lol! Also being a drainage tunnel, he might have eaten insects like cockroaches abundant in drainage places and there is water too. lol! Thank you!

12.04AM here

@Lam-my
Good thinking! Poor Chewy eating cockroaches. Reminds me of Adam saying his 1st apartment in LA was infested with cockroaches.

Do you keep all your Bert stories? They always bring a smile. :-)

I'm not as good as you are with words, my contribution to ....Adam's vid LOL will be a tale written by a writer. Yours has taken me back into my childhood when one of my favorite readings was a tale , Youth Everlasting and Life Without End, tracks of your story can be easily found in that tale. A young prince, Handsome-Son, sets out on a journey in search of eternal youth and immortality. He finds them but he is longing for his abandoned realm, parents. He's completely unaware of the passage of time. Back home after a life of pleasures and leisure, he finds a "ghost castle", everybody he once loved gone long ago, only ruin , decay and memories. Death cannot be defeated , that's the moral of the tale, odd enough thinking that it is a tale for children.

Lam-My said...

1:11.....Your 'Poor Chewy eating cockroaches.' is hilarious! Sooo funny! lol! By the way, fried cockroaches is a fine delicacy, sold at wayside stalls in several countries; one fine day they might make their way into our supermarkets.
Yea you brought up a rather poignant point really, about Adam's pre-Idol apartment infested with cockroaches; I read, his Mom cried but Adam wouldn't budge from what he had set out to do. I've saved all my Adam stories because when I can't write anymore or Adam is not giving us so much of his juicy news and bits, I shall dig them up and read about this particular time period of following Adam.
I only write Bert and Saul stories when I see them together at outings, like recently on the Queen private jet-plane; didn't write a story but an Adam&Sauli poem on that. Something has to trigger the stories or poems; like in this case, Adam's unkempt hair almost covering his eyes and his forlorn look, which went well with the title of his single Ghost Town. I wonder if this unkempt look might be a part of the Ghost Town video.
Thank you so much!

Lam-My said...

Pan.....Wow! Coincides with a favourite story of yours...ghost castle and death cannot be defeated. Thanks for the interesting tale.

@yada

First, you are a good person! (a better one than I am, I assure you). ;)

Second, thanks for the info very much. I used it! :). In your first post, I personally didn't get anything from you but the best of intentions, the very best. If one reads this blog often, it is a VERY safe assumption that several who visit here, perhaps many, of their OWN admission, are not particularly tech savvy... goon on 'ya for keeping that in mind when you offered your valuable and usable info. Thanks again.

Anonymous said...

@yada... again, LOL

"Good on 'ya", not "Goon on 'ya", ROFLMAO.

And hey, since I had to post again anyway, allow me to say that my nod to your post striking me as nothing but helpful and well intended is not a dis or slam to anyone else, not a reference to anything else... it was just my telling you that this reader felt the honorable and helpful vibe of your 5:01pm from the get-go, and I guess it was a little bit of encouragement to anyone who posts here with similar helpful info to not concern themselves so much with writing something so utterly perfectly as to spend waaaayy too much time crafting it; walking on eggshells requires so much delicacy and so much TIME, time that could be spent enjoying the next thread! LOL. Concerning oneself with civility and a pleasant demeanor is awesome 'though, admirable, so gooD on 'ya for doing so yada. I'm a fan :).

Dee R Gee said...

5:18 Thanks for your sensible post. You read my mind. Our help to each other hear should serve the wide spectrum of tech knowledge among our readers. Some need more explanation than others. I know I sure do. We can all help each other with open minds and hearts. And Lam-my, your stories never cease to amaze me! You have an incredible imagination. You should be a scriptwriter. I'd love to see Adam in one of those current TV shows. He's got the right look and right vibe.

Anonymous said...

Well thanks Dee R Gee @ 6:32! This is 5:18 (& 5:10). I had to jump back in and thank you, because funnily enough, I just gave a shout out to a post of yours on the previous thread! (the Years and Years show thread). LOL!!!

I am giggling right now too because, after re-reading my 5:18 post, I certainly took my own advice and didn't concern myself with constructing a perfect post!! Oh my, it is riddled with mistakes, but oh well, I am glad you absorbed the spirit of it despite the errors! When I enjoy and participate in blogs, I like to check at the door, so to speak, the need for perfection that I and so many people need to concern themselves with in real life. And also, if I am typing on an ipad or hand held phone, YIKES, way too difficult to shoot for perfection in that circumstance! :)

Speaking of RL, I have to get back to it!! Have a good day all.

THANKS YADA! from a computer illiterate person for the most part; need it explained as if you were talking to some one who is an actual beginner!

unnecessary petty self indulgent personal crap; being inflicted on fans opinions differing from one's own.

We are all fans of Adam's here, I hope, and should act accordingly!!

So very proud of our Adam. I truly believe the best is yet to come!

Signing up for everything that I can to help him.

Guys....wow, I don't know what to say.... YOU all are CLASS ACTS. :)
THANK YOU for your kindness.

You know... no matter what the impetus ends up being here within this blog for encouragement, acceptance and kind words among our little community here.... The fact that you guys take your valuable time to post positive and kind things (to anyone here! not just me)....

It speaks way more about you guys.
... As a group and as individuals... Your character....
Than it does about me any day of the week!

I'm proud to be a part of such an intelligent & good-willed group of people here - my fellow Glamberts, and supporters of our Guy. And that definitely includes those who have differing opinions and disagree with me, too. :)

I learn a lot from you all. Thanks for taking time to say nice things, and for extending grace (especially to my drawn out posts and seemingly endless flailing sessions. Haha)

None of us here owns the market on "perfect"... Or has the perfect opinion. But, each of us adds a brilliant piece to the kalidescope.

Blessings & peace here to each one of you!

yada said...

.... 5:10/5:18 :). I'm taking what you said to heart. Good insight & advise. Couldn't say everything "just right" if I tried anyway. lol

.... All of us should be able to feel that freedom (within the context of respectful intent, of course).

....Anyway, thank you :)

Yada, I also want to thank you for the tip about subscribing to Adams youtube channel. I have learned so much from this site, I check in everyday, comment when time permits. I am embarrassed to say I never had an interest in computers till I discovered Adam, then I needed a way to see where this amazingly talented young man was going. What a ride it has been and its only going to get better.Thank you to all who keep this site so very informative!

Lam-My said...

DRG.....Thank you! Though we've had some brushes...deep down, I could still sense what you have said all along..."your stories never cease to amaze me..." which you have said before and it has remained... scriptwriter whoa! Actually my intention all along is just to write about Adam...how and why it all exploded, I really have no idea! My closest explanation is perhaps Adam's extremely well-crafted singing and his voice and power could have driven right into a great depth of my brain which then erupted all the poems/stories. lol! Another more tangible reason is I had it all along but being so bogged down by work, it never stood a chance for any form of eruption. lol! If I had more support, perhaps I would have known it much earlier. Thank you for allowing me to speak this way to you.

Yada...24/7 peace ambassador lwl! You broke the impasse actually. Chewy did the trick and Adam's forlorn, unkempt hair appearance killed it. lol! Thank you!
