I love the 2009 photo. I don't like any of the 2015 shoot. The photos are too dark in nature, showing Adam on a blue day. I will say they are different from any others he has had done. But they did not capture Adam's personality, or good looks. I think the hair ruined most of them. Anne Marie

Adam looks tired and worn out on the 2015 picture. I like his spunky personality on the 2009 one. What is going on here? Who ever is taking the pictures, why have him pose like this.

So different but so alike, too. Adam's beautiful, pensive nature shines through on both. I remember that early picture very well. And the new ones are very sexy, at least to me. There's room for both the light and the dark. Either way, he's beautiful.

Adam either way, I love you, you have such amazing personality.

It's just one shoot. Doesn't reflect who he is all the time. I'm sure they'll be plenty more spunky pictures yet to come. Adam is never just one thing. I wouldn't read too much into it.

I love both. It´s all Adam but in different mood. He can be serious and he can be also funny.
I can not see him just in one mood, it is impossible. That's why I love all the nuances his being. It is more real and honest to me.

These are the only pictures of Adam I've seen that I do not like.

His evolution has been fascinating to watch, but I'm really digging the latest looks.

Time flies and handsome boy became handsome man.

Adam has done far more than his share for the LGBT cause. And he has been unbelievably successful. There comes a time to let others take over and do their share. I remember when he said he was not a poster boy . . .

I think there's been a lot on his plate in the past year. Going from all the Queen stuff straight into the A3 music, has got to be a lot of pressure. Feel the 2015 shoot is Adam trying to be more mainstream and the old looks AI--til maybe when he met Sauli did give off a goth vibe not everyone embraced. This is him putting it all out there, as he has done before, but not gotten results. This time has got to be the charm.

People often see a beauty in magazines and they are quick bored by it. When I see Adam in these photos I see a mystery and realness and make me to see it again and again.
When you look at Mona Lisa you can not say she is a beautiful. She is a good looking but she is not beautiful at all and then people want to se her again and again. She is same as Adam a mystery. It is intriguing to see again try to solve that puzzle.

I'm not fond of the bedraggled look the photographer went for but it's much better than the heavily photoshopped pics from Fault Magazine. Those were terrible.

IMO, Adam is a diamond.... I like all his facets. It's fun to admire them and take them in. As many as he reveals to us. I suspect we'll see more of them through the years... As he matures and evolves....

I like both the pictures. The "glamorous" one... And the "rougher" one.

At any rate, this shoot certainly has inspired plenty of conversation. And that's not a bad thing, at all. :))))

It seems from all indications that these pictures are in line with his new single coming out on April 21st.

Help! I've been having trouble the last few days being able to view some of the photos posted here by AdminFan. Never happened before....I see all the headings of the threads but not the photos that follow.

There been thousands of different pictures since the first picture of Adam here. Most of the time the pictures even the most recent one, show a very groomed extremely handsome Adam. Ovipusly here the photographer was going for the manly scruffy look.

Any fan that been here for any length of time know how gorgeous Adam looks and his photos. All the way up to 2015. He always so well groomed and fashionable. He loves fashion. This oviously is far from his regular look. Every where he goes almost they tell him how handsome he is.

Adam a camilion his looks change all the time why he so interesting besides his massive talent. I see nothing to worry about if this is not your thing. I like the pictures. I like the pictures in this photo shoot. Another side of Adam just one. Nothing to worry about it just one photo shoot many to come.

try erasing cookies and clearing the browser history. Make sure you haven't missed any updates to your browser and other programs. Then turn off your computer and restart. Hope that helps.

Why are people so uptight about this look? He's not the same Adam we saw on AI, remember, that picture was taken 6 years ago. I'm pretty damn sure your tastes will change In six years time. In the actual Hunger interview he stated " sometimes I look back on my old style and roll my eyes." He's A LOT, more mature now.
It doesn't matter if he's got eyeliner on or not, he's damn sexy in both these pictures. He's not so one dimensional that he's only be flamboyant and camp there'd more to him than that. This shoot brought out that scruffy man which us a lot of us aren't used to, mostly because he acts feminine a lot of the time. Personally I like the 2015 look a lot better, but we whether you like this style or not we can't actually change how he looks.

This look (these photos) has a good dose of modernity to it, capturing a current feel, which lends well to his take on his single perhaps. IMHO, it is a great feel under which to promote a new single. Look around the marketplace, his marketplace, so to speak - it works! IMO. When I think about what's current in magazines, movies, music, clothing ads, TV, international trends... To me, this is a great mood, as far as still images go, with which to initially promote new music with. Just my POV.

It's an "Adam in the raw" type of thing.
I like this edge to his masculinity.

And, I agree. It's a modern take.... And an intriguing facet to this same extraordinary, incredible artist and man.

There's a rather earthy, authentic.... realness and transparency to it. And THAT is VERY, very sexy on Adam.

Definitely the pic on the left. The 2015 pic does absolutely nothing for Adam except make him look unattractive. Very disappointing but to each his/her own.

I love both the pictures. Why not take it as the album Trespassing - left is the light side of Adam and the right is the darker side of Adam. I personally love this pic the most in this series. Look at him, staring the camera with that slight smile on his face. He just hit me with electric shock!

This just shows the 'evolution' of ADAM LAMBERT from cute newbie of 2009 to World Megastar of 2015!! There are so many other photos from the in-between years that show ADAM in so many other different poses ... some campy ... others breath-takingly stunning .. but underneath them all ... it's still our Glam Star that I fell in love with 6 wonderful years ago. To me ... NO picture of ADAM is UNlikeable!! and they are all equally Handsome!! JMO

Rankin, by shooting in black & white, has captured the light & dark sides of Adam. The photos are amazing and seem to be totally in sync with Adam's description of the theme intent of TOH. Personally, I love the photos and the bad boy vibe. This photo vibe captures Adam's comment about being "flawed". They read each other perfectly. Kudos all around! BTW, love the ruffled hair.

I embrace all side of Adam's personality and looks. No one person embodies one facet of themselves, how boring would that be.....

Adam is beautiful from all sides, moods, styles, music. He seems to be at once an open book yet mysterious, boyish yet roughedly handsome. I look forward to to his new music and whatever side of his self he has evolved to with his career. He is an amazingly talented singer and performer, especially live.

Black and white pictures are not for all people, they can be stark yet beautiful. There are some strikely beautiful pictures from this shoot. He is exceptionally photogenic.

Adam is all grown up.. Love the pictures... They show another side of him.. It's also beautiful..

Not a fan of the hair combed forward. I can't see those amazing eyes! I like the pic in the suit with his hair back and looking serious and sexy.

These new photos are another professional artist's view on this hugely talented and beautiful artist called Adam Lambert, who about to release his 3rd album, hus new work of art. There are professional briefings, guaranteed planning and a lot of work behind these photos. They all and especially Adam deserve more well thoughtout comments from his fans than mere I don't like this and that, sounds so juvenile. These are not random pics or flash in the pan moments. jmo

I agree with your comment. I will add that I think it was well written - straightforward but civil. I suppose it's true & appropriate that all participants here should feel free to post their opinions... and I want to say that I am very glad you posted yours, I like how you expressed what you said.
