Ironic that the Metro Newspaper used the 'gay' label. Apparently they didn't actually read the article, about what Adam said about the 'Gay' label. Anne Marie

Adam will never escape the gay label as he was the first to embrace it publicly, leading the way for other gay artists, who sailed in on his coattails. Not fair but it's what it is. Adam was the trail blazer first and firemost, why we adore him!!!!

Just stopped by to say hi to all here at 24/7.....I'm super excited about all the new music but haven't had a chance to say so. Sunday was a landmark day for all of us in Joplin and especially at Mercy. As I've told u all on May 22 2011 our hospital was destroyed by an EF5 tornado, we were the last business to reopen and it had been crazy!!! But things are going goof and hopefully I'll have more to follow our sweet boy and talk to all here... Have a great day.

Adam really broke a huge barrier in the music business by being upfront before he started to record music after Idol. Other gay singers didn't "tell" till after they made it big. Honesty is one of his many assets.

I just opened up the comments section to post about the irony myself! I don't know who edited that piece, but I hope they have since taken note of the irony there!

Maybe the author felt it was necessary to say Adam is gay in order to put his comment in context.

Adam is who he is; he does not have a problem with it, others should't either!

April 21st will be the ORIGIONAL HIGH HOLIDAY! People get ready. Need no other distractions that day! No work, no classes that day! I hope! Will be ready to listen, listen and read all comments. Wonder if it will come out early on that date; and where?
