Something tells me GT is going to get some airplay.

It's either really good or Warner is throwing a ton of money behind it. Or both. Hopefully both.

Or it's "REALLY GOOD" and speaks for itself! That seems to be the consensus!! If the label is really behind an artist; and the artist is really good like Adam; it probably does not need any arms twisting or bribes thrown at it!

I am pretty sure that Warner has what it takes to promote it's most talented artists. The artist either has it or they don't and Adam has it in spades; so he should be a shoe in for radio play this time!

Big name producers really help to open that elusive door too! Anything within reason and the law to help Adam get that extra push he needs; I am all for it!

Do radio stations do this all the time? Tweet about artists upcoming music-like we've been seeing for Ghost Town?

Adam Lambert is a smart cookie when he dumped RCA. He can't be manipulated and he is making good choices when it comes to expand his career. Being a solo artist and guesting with QUEEN is brilliant. Now, Warner has the power to help Adam for more good opportunities indeed!!!:) BRING IT ON!!:)))

Can't wait to hear this new single because of all the buzz from the djs who have already heard it. I hope it gets lots of airplay and that we get to see Adam on any number of the talk and entertainment shows performing the song. It will be interesting to see who will be in his band and if there are any backup singers also. And Adam is looking extremely handsome and in fine physical shape from the latest pics we have seen. Let's hope the third time is the charm and he gets all the success and recognition that he so deserves in the crazy world of today's music.

What's this Madonna song out called Ghosttown?

2:00 PM, "and the artist is really good like Adam; it probably does not need any arms twisting or bribes thrown at it!" Not true in today's industry. Amazing amounts of money are spent promoting a song. The viral ones are very rare.

This is great. Every little bit helps. Win/Win. I've been trying to keep my excitement in check, but I gotta say - this little blurb makes me psyched! :)

Hmmm those are the dj's talking and they don't get to pick the music that is played. We learned this on TP album.

Sounds like she is a bit more than a DJ do you think?

I have been checking this out carefully, and so far besides a few DJ's, this time it is coming from radio station Managers, who have the say so on what is being played.

I am very impressed so far in tweets I have been seeing here and on ATOP! This is great news, I have not seen this before. They must really be impressed!

@6:32 You are so right, she is more than a DJ.

No one can rain on this Adam Parade; try though some may!!!

5:59 PM, in this case something is different. In her last tweet she said she is excited to play it on her station. Also, here is her twitter bio:

The info regarding who Melony Torres is at the station is posted in the thread topic....

glitzylady, well, people seem to be missing that so what is the harm in restating it in the comments?

glitzylady said...

No harm, but just pointing it out :))) No harm in me doing that either I would think...

Read the titles of threads, peeps!
We don't need to be spoon fed!!

Well, I'm late coming into the party with all this excitement and thrilling news....!

Love love hearing and reading the buzz, talk and tweets about and from music directors/managers/TPTBs making decisions to play Adam's single and shouting it from the viral rooftops. YESSS!! :)

I'm also thrilled that, from the sounds of it.... Influential folk are genuinely viewing GT as a solid piece which seems to be really exciting people in the industry. IMO,These remarks don't sound "canned" or bought to me. Love the sound of that..... Good, good signs.

Even still... IF (and, that's a big "IF") certain persons of influence don't care for the song.... It seems likely a station that doesn't play a fresh-off-the-grill Max Martin single will NOT look very good... And be criticized/questioned for it from entities that monitor this type of thing. From what I've gathered, anyway, It's so significant... it's almost like a gallery refusing to display a Van Gogh... Or a Picaso. (haha)
Apparently, MM is really regarded as gold in the music industry....

So it appears, anyway... Today's "Big Guns" in music production and writing add not only large doses of street cred in the music market...
They also seem to make it highly likely a song will get credible air time. I say hooray for that addition of premuim reputation attached to Adam's music....

But hey, regardless... from what we're hearing (and what we Glamberts have already Known) ... our Adam has a trending, fresh and highly likeable single coming up that appears to be somewhat taking the market by storm! (hehehee ... Big grin here :))). And, to sweeten the pot... That storm is being stirred up based upon sheer quality and listenability alone.

Loving all this already .... And it's really only just begun! :)))))

Very Off-Topic:
@March 30, 2015 at 9:48 PM - your jealousy is showing.

An example of how THIS reader read this thread: Yesterday when I read the thread, I read the presented info, before opening the comments section, carefully... and it was helpful to know that Melony Torres possessed credentials beyond just DJ, as it spoke to the potential for GT getting actual airplay (because it's true & widely understood, DJ's picks mean NOTHING as far as playlist development & execution). However, this morning, having kind of familiarized myself with the thread topic yesterday,I just went right into the comments section, and as I read through, I was actually very appreciative to be reminded, WITHOUT having to click BACK OUT to the main page, by March 30 7:57PM, about Melony's credentials. But I also am appreciative of the reminder by Glitzylady that relevant information is likely to be posted in the main/title area of any given thread, as it is a reminder to me to take a closer look at that info before moving into the comments section, because it is apt to have a strong bearing on how I will absorb & digest the info/discussion in the comments section! And again, at the risk of being terribly redundant, Melony Torres' credential do have a bearing on "meat" & potential meaning of this thread. DJ's & on-air personalities have little influence on playlists, Melony has potentially more pull than a DJ. This reader sees only positive intent in regard to Glitzlady's "heads up" post(s) here in the comments section, imho. Sheesh. In my view, your post @ March 30 9:48PM was the unnecessary one. I suppose it could be argued that my post here is unnecessary, redundant & unhelpful, fine, I'll own that, that's a valid point! But I felt compelled to chime in, and I added an Off-Topic label at the outset to at least attempt to be helpful.

Great tweet by Melony Torres!! :)

5:27 AM here,
Enjoyed your post yada :)

5:27, Great post. I agree. I have a RL, too and I don't always remember or have time to go searching back for threads. If the relevance of a previous thread comes up again in the news, I do appreciate a repeat of the link to the info. Admins who do this for us are doing their jobs well, IMO.

So what if some people missed or forgot the DJs job titles. How many reminders do we need in the comments? I felt like the first reminder was adequate and then that glitzylady's was almost chastising for saying it's already in the thread topic...

I'm just happy to hear we're going to be obsessed and it was crazy ass ridiculous good. I want to hear it - tic tic tic can't wait 😜

@8:31 am, I honestly think a lot of the misunderstandings come from the fact that unlike "real world" conversations, we get an impression just based on typed words alone; no facial expressions or body language to help convey intent. I have a co-worker who left our company to work elsewhere; her text messages are so cryptically short they almost come off as unfeeling or rude....though she is neither of those things. :)
