Also on Adam's official YouTube. Share link, post it on your Facebook, etc. Counts towards Adam's media presence.

3:44 PM, much younger Adam. Pre-Idol? Just after Idol?

Not that much younger, in my opinion! Just a very different look. Grows more handsome with each passing year of his still young life!

Wouldn't it be something if some of Adam's country fans started requesting his cd to be played on country stations. Then he would be invited to the Grand Old Opry!
Country artists cross over; why can't he. After all; music is universal! Stranger things have happened. That would be so cool!

Off to vote at BB!

Adam's voice sounds beyond gorgeous in this clip! He's a master tease...and I love every second of it!

5:55 PM, a song crosses over because the music lends itself to that. If this song is house dance oriented, as has been hinted at by Adam himself, there is no amount of requesting that will ever get it on country radio.

Music may be universal but the type of music is NOT universal.

OT: If you have an extra moment; please vote for Roger too. Poll closing tomorrow at 10:00 AM ET, Tuesday, April 7th. Roger now has 50.01% to the other drummer's 49.99%. Remember you can vote once an hour. We Helped Brian to win his; let's help to get one for Roger too. Adam would approve!

Off to vote for Adam's stuff again!! Love, love, love what I hear of the song!

Adam Lambert is UNIVERSAL and Our Gift From God!!!

Well, Adam granted my wish...I remember asking him to sing at least one line and not to be so wicked; lol!
Yea his voice suits the vibe of Ghost Town...his mid tenor comes off very soothing with a tinge of sadness.
By the way, I used the word 'heart' twice in my literal interpretation of my Ghost Town story and lo and behold, it's in the line he sang: 'Now I know my heart is Ghost Town...'
Timeslot...That's a perfect Bingo! lwl!

Adam is not very keen about slotting songs into genres though it can be helpful depending on the situation. Actually, Adam not only crosses over, he practically zig-zags through them...quite hard to pin his songs down to one particular genre though he says his album3 is mainly pop, in-depth. In any case, he got a standing ovation singing a supposedly country song, ROF.

Oh wow!! This song has an awesome vibe! Love the melody of the tune. And Adam's amazing voice.... pure Heaven....

When I play the song snippets back to back .... It's starting to take more shape, and one can gather even a little bit more sense of it's musicality and direction. Adam's vocal sounds so filled with emotion... In the midst of my intense fascination listening to it, I also kinda felt a little "Uh oh" inside as GT just may be a heart-wrencher. (I'm also considering he's been interviewed as saying these songs are particularly "honest" and reveal more about himself?) Might be a little hard .... Adam singing about his heart being a "ghost town...", etc. Gahhh!

One thing I'm completely certain of ... I can't WAIT to hear the entire song. Sounds to me like it will be HIT, Glamberts. The 21st can't come soon enough!! Bring it, Adam. :))

This snippet sounds like a country song. I need to hear the whole song!!

@5:55
Adam's country fans??!???

Can I breathe freely now, it seems that his voice is not covered up by electronica! It doesn't matter whether he sings country, soft country, pop influenced by country, to me , a "virgin" in American country music it doesn't sound country at all,what it really matters is how beautiful, clear, his voice sounds. And that echo-like sound at the end of the snippet is fabulous!

@12:30

I am not 5:55, but I will testify as a country person; I have a truck load of people that just love Adam Lambert and have been to almost all of his concerts; starting from Idol. Why in the world do you think he came to our stomping grounds during his Glam Nation tour.

Sorry, but, more of us country folk love Adam Lambert more than you know; and let's face it; the cowboy is real easy on the eyes!!!

With all due respect, didn't you know that MR LAMBERT HAS FANS, OF ALL COLORS AND STRIPS; EVEN WE COUNTRY FOLK???????

Cannot wait for this upcoming album. Will have a blast on the 21st of April, we will even have chicken in the barn. you all can join us if you like. Nothing like Southern Hospitality!!

Hope Adam covers the Southern States again on his tour. But, if not, I will go wherever he appears, again!

This snippet sounds country to me and I don't have a hearing problem. Look forward to hearing more.

I can attest it's possible to love Adam Lambert's music AND country music. Lol!

Hey Country Gal @2:14!
Nothing against country folks and/or country music lovers, just had not seen those three words put together...honestly! Therefore the question marks... Thank you for your post and hospitality! :)

Well, what do we have so far? Maybe 12 seconds total of the song? Six seconds from this snippet? Really hard to tell a genre from that.

Lam-My said...

Ghost Town will not likely be a country song...Adam seems not too inclined towards this genre. See the way he transformed ROF, even Randy the mentor shook his head but he gave him points for unique. However, on the Idol tour, the Grand Opry audience gave him a standing ovation for ROF. Oh not forgetting Simon said Nashville people would throw their tv sets out the window; and Randy shook his head again. lol!
Not likely Ghost Town will have semblance of country music, I feel.

Only 52 minutes left to vote for Roger Taylor on the Ultimate Classic Rock.
