Adam Lambert mention in Queen article: Sex? Drugs? No thanks.

Brian is 67.
As lead guitarist for Queen, he is also fantastically rich — worth an
estimated £75 million. He could be lolling on a sun-lounger in Barbados,
sipping vodka cocktails with Anita. Or playing golf with his London
musician neighbours Robbie Williams and Jimmy Page.
Instead, he’s a workaholic.
If
he’s not trying to change the political landscape, then he’s
campaigning for animal rights (he owns a wildlife sanctuary in Dorset).

Happy Easter Everyone!!
Actually, Easter is relatable to everyone as it's about carrying our own crosses and overcome them with love, to rise above them and carry on.
As Catholics/Christians, we believe in Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection and above all Love.
without the resurrection, there is no hope for mankind. Resurrection is his promise.
Good article on Dr.Bri.
Happy Easter to You as well, Lam-My! :))
Yes back at you...Happy Easter Yada!!
Please, no proselytizing here.
Here is the Adam Lambert mention:
"Or touring with drummer Roger Taylor and American Idol’s Adam Lambert (standing in for Freddie Mercury) as a re-formed Queen."
Standing in for Freddie Mercury sort of sounds like Freddie is home sick and will be back when he recovers.
I love Dr. May, and I've loved him since we, both, were younger.I love his wisdom, his modesty in behavior, his elevated spirit. Could he have had an epiphany, has he found the secret of how to keep on finding new goals to pursue, of how to treasure only the basics:moral, family, social values? I'm proud of his professional, musical, social accomplishments, I will forever be grateful that he has been strong-willed and ignored all those obnoxious comments of Adam's detractors. And I will forever cherish the unforgettable moments of real music they, he, Adam, Roger, the band have offered us.
As to his running or not for the Parliament, I'm a little disappointed LOL, I've been waiting so long to see/hear an MP, who unlike all the other MPs in this mad, mad world, stiff and dozing off in their comfortable armchairs, would be riffing and singing about fat-bottomed girls! LOL
Pan.....Dr Brian is a formidable political candidate; look at his long string of high qualifications, titles, welfares, charities and his experience in the business world.
I really like the way he takes over from Adam's high notes, like carrying them forward around the arena, with his guitar notes which sound eerie, piercing and cosmic.
Yes, dear Lam-My, if you're lucky enough to live in a country where qualifications, titles, experience...do count, such as Singapore. Several years ago I read a report made by Transparency International experts about Singapore City being one of the happiest/safest/less corrupt cities in the world. If these pieces of info are still valid, I think , soon we'll become residents of the same city!
LOL

What is this absurdity about, wishing somebody Happy Easter means automatically proselytism!?!?
Will I be banned if I dare to post a song by Vangelis , yes, that Vangelis , the genius of electronic music, exceptionally edited, the author of the vid used fragments from the mini series Jesus of Nazareth directed by Franco Zeffirelli?
Hey Pan.....I think all religions are good. It's the misinterpretations and closed-mindedness that cause problems. If someone of another religion sends me their celebratory wishes, goodwill and blessings...I have no qualms about that. Thanks for your compliments.
Pan, it's not just saying Happy Easter. It is what else is said. 8:09 AM went beyond just saying Happy Easter.
We have a very diverse crowd that comes here. I think it is OK to say Merry Christmas or Happy Passover or Happy Eid or Happy Diwali. But I don't think we should go beyond the wishes.
Brian is a class act. Not only is he intelligent, well-spoken and talented. But he uses his fame and good fortune for good in the world. I glad I got to know more about him. Another benefit of being and Adam fan.
Interesting that Brian never did drugs in that environment and time.
I guess it is always possible to "just say no." That era was crazy with drug use in the music world. Guess Brian knew it wasn't for him and he stuck to his principles.
