Eventually the competition is whittled down to two finalists who compete for a major recording contract with 19 Recordings and the AMERICAN IDOL title. Past winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze, Scotty McCreery Phillip Phillips, and Candice Glover, as well as fan-favorites Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, Chris Daughtry, and Katharine McPhee, have all become household names and made their marks on the recording industry.

I love that the media usually only refers Adam to just "Adam", unlike some people who have to have their last name included. No offense to Kris Allen but everytime someone mentions him, they refer him as "Kris Allen", not "Kris".
Well well well, we are back where it all started lol! Adam has become quite the worldwide phenomenon. I think Brian, Roger and Queen gave him his second booster jab lol! The other AI winners are super singers, no doubt about that too. Wishing the best to all AI winners as well as non-winners mentioned.

People might know who you are talking about, if you mention the name Adam if you are speaking about the past American Idol Contestants. You also have to remember his counterpart in the music industry Adam Levine; who he is always confused with.
Neither Adam can go without using their last names! That is in most instances, unless it is obvious you are speaking about them.
I like when Adam Lambert's full name is mentioned it sets him apart without any doubt who you are speaking about.
When he opens his mouth and sings; all doubt that it is the one and only Adam Mitchel Lambert, would fly out the window anyway. No one could confuse that one in a Billion voice with any other singer this side of heaven!!

Hmmm...This is season 14, but I count only 12 winner names listed Instead of 13. Who is missing?
Also seems funny the "household names" don't include Clay Aiken.
