'Elton John is amazing, what a sweetheart, and Boy George is also incredible'
Adam Lambert is the first openly gay
male singer to have an album debut at number one of the Billboard charts.
But lately there's another out
singer named Sam Smith who has been getting much of the accolades - including
winning four Grammys this year.
Lambert doesn't mind the company.
'Sam Smith, hats off, he has had an
amazing year, he’s a lovely guy,' he says in a new Attitude magazine cover
story.

Oh I looove this picture of Adam...so fresh with his wave-tunnel tumbling lock of hair. Nice vibrant colours of his shirt and striking profile.
Adam wants to feel a greater presence of the success of gay singers and be identified with a group; so far the most outstanding is himself.
I think we can squelch all the rumors , that Adam said he wants to collaborate with Sam Smith. He only congratulated him on his success, and is thrilled that another gay singer, has gone mainstream.
