Less of a label anywhere in my book. Nice of the Boston Globe to catch this quote and feature it.

I deleted your comment because it was not relevant to the thread topic and planted a tone negativity about Adam's new music on this thread, which should be a very positive accolade to Adam Lambert..

We have other threads for discussing the subject you brought up.. And to be honest, it read as more of a troll comment..

I didn't see the deleted comment but since the person asked why it was deleted I'm leaning towards it wasn't a troll.

Since when does it matter if a comment is relevant to that thread? It happens all the time that somebody adds something unrelated.

It would be great if there were clearly posted rules about what will be deleted and if the mods adhered to that. Last time it was described by Glitzylady it seemed there were very few things that would get a comment deleted. Since then Glitzylady deletes lots and Admin Fan rarely deletes even when it is clearly obvious it is an offensive troll comment.

I don't like the direction this blog is taking between this and the recent issue of you have to word your opinion in such a way as it won't offend anybody.

Please do give us a permanent link on the front page of what the rules for being deleted is. Thank you.

Good for you Glitzy! There is another popular Adam Lambert Blog that is absolutely moderated and strong opinions abound, but a civility is always maintained, some of these peeps wouldn't last a second over there! It's a good blog, not my particular cup of tea, so I only lurk there, but for sure it is moderated, and probably with good reason.

4:52 PM, please stop bullying people who are just expressing their opinion.

LOVE the picture you included with this fantastic post, glitzy. :)
He is truly stunning here....

(My personal kudos as well to the Globe for using one of these pics of Adam from iHeart. Niiiiice going, Globe! :))

This quote and it's feature in the BG speaks of Adam's increasing relevance to everyday life... And becoming even more of a household name. I think we'll be seeing much more of this; as I also believe Adam is truly on the road to becoming culturally and musically iconic. He is still so young, yet. Many amazing years ahead (and many quoteable statements from Adam yet to be featured from his prolific cache of thoughts and ideas).

I think Adam has a deep well of profound and relevant things more to say and contribute to our culture ... In relateable ways.... Through his music and his interviews.

This is an exciting time! IMO, society is increasingly going to see that, yes, Adam is an extraordinary artist .... And yet, also so much much more.....

:))

Haters "gonna" hate; they will find some outlet to spread their hate, but it doesn't have to be here on Adam's blog fan site!

I think it's OK to talk about other things on this site, if in some manner it relates to or about Adam. For instance we have talked many times about Adam's boyfriends, or just regular friends, and if commented on in a decent way, it is usually accepted. This is a site for Adam, but so many other topics come up, stemming from bits of news, either pertaining to Adam, or indirectly pertaining to Adam.
We should be allowed to voice an opinion if it is polite and not rude and condescending to other commenters.

7:39, Your last sentence is the key. I visit a few other Adam fansites each day, and the posters there also have their disagreements just like we do here. The difference is that I never see out and out rudeness or attacks on these other sites. Nothing sounds "troll-y." This site is the one I consider my home Adam site. You can post anon here. That's the difference. This site has an owner who can make decisions about the postings. Contrary to what some here believe, you cannot just say whatever you want to. Language and tone can make a big difference. If you want to really make a point or disagree with someone, just make it civil and considerate. It's not that hard.

And I LOVE that the Boston Globe picked up on Adam's beautiful quote. He is creative and lyrical with his language.

Make your comment civil and considerate but don't come down like a ton of bricks on those you disagree with or those who didn't meet your standard of civil and considerate. It's a consistency thing. Someone being rude doesn't mean it is OK for you to be rude too. Let's try to be kind regardless.

To me, the comment Adam made sounds like it was written by a PR person. I believe that Adam wants this to be true. I think this quote might have come from an interview that came out about a week ago. It was a written interview, not a video one. A comment like this does not come into one's head on the spot.

This site turns up in my Google alert for Adam. When a site is commonly in that alert, trolls are going to comment on that site more frequently than on sites that do not show up.
