RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Tickets for the seven-day 2015 Rock in Rio music festival go on sale on Thursday, April 9th at 10AM. Held once again in Barra da Tijuca’s Cidade do Rock, the festival will take place on September 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th. Tickets will be available for individual days for R$350 (full-price) and R$175 (half-price for students, the elderly and those with special needs).
Confirmed artists for this year’s festival include Queen with Adam Lambert, One Republic, Lenine, Nação Zumbi, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Korn, Ministry, Elton John, Rod Stewart, John Legend, System of a Down, Queens of the Stone Age, Deftones, Slipknot, Faith No More, Rihanna, Sam Smith, Katy Pery, A-ha, Robyn, Headhunterz and Crookers.

The article says .........
"A total of 85,000 tickets (maximum capacity) will be made available for each of the seven nights of the festival. Sales will be online only and will be open to the public starting from 10AM onwards."
And Queen + Adam's tickets (1st night of concert) have sold out.

A great big YUHUU for QAL!!!!
Not a chance for me to travel there, but really looking forward to the TV footage.
Some of the names on that list though are so NOT for the Rock scene. jmo
