Adam Lambert began a 15-day countdown for his
newest single “Ghost Town” by sharing a five-second video teaser on
Monday afternoon.
The black-and-white clip, which
he promoted on his Instagram and Twitter
account, finds the former American Idol contestant
striking several poses while the presumed refrain teases the single to be
a heartbreak anthem.

I wonder is that the photo shoot for Ghost Town. All my mind is filled with 'and now I know my heart is a ghost town'! 15 days! Can't wait!
On Seacrest's site - also Hillary Duff's new single "Sparks" released today. Produced in Sweden. "Sparks" co-written by Tove Lo. Whistle intro I believe. Thoughts? I think it's a good thing personally, but opinions welcome. Let's play nice 'though. :)
I keep singing this little snippet my family is sick of me . Lol
I want Adam's new music to be successful but I had a sense a while ago that his going to work w some of these type of assembly-line, mass-produced types of producers could back fire. This 1st single will struggle if it has to compete against similar titled or similar sounding songs. I wish he had his own "sound" like Imagine Dragons, the Script, Coldplay for example. Regardless I'll support him. Still waiting for that "right" sound/song from him. Although I 've liked a few of his post-Idol songs, I haven't really "looooved" any, except 'Underneath'. I do, however, still listen to his Idol songs now & again, but never the FYE or Trespassing CDs. Would like some new, awesome music to obsess over!
OT: Over on ATOP, someone posted a tweet from Shoshanna, stating that she will be, "spending the day playing people new music #GhostTown"!
Also posted was a tweet from Edge Publicity stating, "It's A #GhostTown Kind of Day".
Apparently, they are doing what a Management team is paid to do. Also a Record Label that believes in their singer!
Something that Adam had to do on his own when he was with RCA.
So excited for Adam and his RECORD, "THE ORIGINAL HIGH".
Off to vote again and again, for all things Adam Lambert.
Don't forget to vote for Roger every hour if you can until 10:00AM ET, Tuesday 4/7, IF YOU CAN. Getting down to the wire, and so darn close!
It is important for Adam to get the attention of the Masses first; be patient ANY doubtful little Glamhoppers.
By the way, I have loved all off Adam's records; he is simply the BEST! I also believe the BEST IS YET TO COME.....
3:23 AM, Shoshanna and Edge Publicity is Adam's publicist, not his management. DMG is his management. Both of these are the SAME as for the release of Trespassing. Adam didn't have to do any of this stuff on his own with Trespassing. So far nothing is different.
Have zero time to post as of late with the new hospital opening. Had a minute this morning and came here today all excited, I love the snippet it's already stuck in my head but a little negativity goes a long way... So guess I better get back to work
Only 54 minutes left to vote for Roger Taylor at the Ultimate Classic Rock.

I totally agree with your statement: "It is important for Adam to get the attention of the Masses first..."
IMHO, anyone who doesn't grasp that, and understand how that might be achieved, is not looking at the situation with any modernity. Just my POV, not meant to come across harsh or mean-spirited, just my personal feeling.
Can't wait for 4/21.
@3:34 AM
You are entitled to your opinion; but for the most part I agree with the poster @3:23 AM; on it's merits!
I disagree with you that nothing has changed this time around; I think it is very different, and for the better, better, better!
Also, Adam did what he felt he had to do; since nobody else seemed to be doing anything for him at the time! We will just have to agree to disagree!
Off to the job that's awaiting; have a good day!
"Now I Know My Heart Is A Ghost Town"!!!
We loved RCA and thought they were doing everything for Adam.... until he left RCA... then they became bad guys...
3:34 AM is right in telling 3:23 AM that Shosh is Adam's publicist... not his manager.... they have very different roles... people often confuse who does what.. it's important to know the difference....
Shosh seems to be doing what she did last time... sharing the new single.. and album.... with various industry people.. magazines.. I'd be interested in hearing what she is doing differently this time... I thought she has always done well by Adam...
Can we tell what Warner is doing better yet? Do we know what they have done so far that RCA didn't? I am hoping we see a difference... will they choose a better single? do they have another way to push a single to radio?
I'm very hopeful for this new era... but can anybody share specifics of what is different... what does 3:23 AM see that Shosh is doing different... or the management company doing different.... or how Warner is better.... or do we need to see the full roll out to judge Warner?
@8:41am
I will chime in and say that I can understand what you are saying. I have no opinion to share further at this moment, I am thinking about it :), but even off the cuff, I can say that I do see what you are saying. You, or someone echoing your sentiments, has posted similarly on this blog in the recent past, a few times I think, and I could see the point that was being made then too. In any event, this single seems to be striking those who've heard it as very "radio friendly", so that's cool, I'm going to go with that for today. :) Peace. Have a good day all.
8:41 AM, it's normal for people to feel very loyal to something like a label when you are wanting the best for the artist but to then turn on them when it seems they wronged your idol. People are fickle.
I think we are in a wait and see place right now but with very high hopes. We'll know more by the fall if Warner really is able to pull off something RCA couldn't.
I wonder if the rock covers album that RCA proposed for Adam would have been a big seller, a break through.
A large Idol audience certainly loved the covers done by him that season. I can accept that he didn't want to do covers and yet RCA was willing to spend the money - they must have felt it would work to kick up interest.
