I didn't hear it either; because he never mentioned Sauli's name; or any of his other exes; they have all moved on as friends that seem to enjoy each others company every now and then. Why can't some of his fans or agitators move on too?
Just love Adam in interviews, I can sit and look and listen to him all day; but, who has the time? Love, the video just fabulous; so happy for Adam. He is so sensible when it comes to relationship; guess he living and learning. Very thoughtful young man!!
Adam Lambert on Being Single: Will I Ever Fall in Love Again?
"There are moments where I wonder to myself, 'Am I gonna fall in love again? Or ever? To the way that I feel like I want to?'"
Asked what he's looking for in a relationship, Lambert's response is quick. "I don't know what the hell I'm looking for, to be honest with you," he says, "and I think that's the beauty of getting into your 30s and kind of being like, I'm OK with not knowing. I'm not sure. Maybe when I find it, I'll know it, I guess?"
Adam at this time honestly doesn't know what he wants in a relationship. He admitted that his work, which pulls him in all directions, isn't fair for anyone to take on. Possibly he will never settle into a relationship. What kind of person would settle for just being his companion, and never have a job or career of their own. Most guys have more personal pride than that. Curious as to what he meant by NO DRAMA in a partner. Has he faced that before? There will always be drama if he isn't faithful.
I have to say that I feel Adam is demonstrating a fairly mature and realized personal prescience (not a just "whatever works for me at the moment" approach seemingly popular with many of today's youth in romance & relationships) about his personal life... in a deeply thoughtful way that comes through as thoroughly real, genuine, and pretty relateable. His unrehearsed responses to these harder questions about his personal life - exposing his heart about life & love - ring of a depth of self awareness and realistic acceptance about himself and his life circumstances (as it is right now in his career - limited in time and, perhaps, emotional availability for someone) and seem wrought from some hard knocks in love and relationships, with some intense self-searching and self honesty.
Not too many people care to take the harder road of soul-searching where it isn't pretty .... to "go there" and zero in on harder personal truths - facing them squarely - and then choosing to be open and honorable about all of it in a very public and revealing interview like this. .... To me, that's just emotionally courageous for anyone.
Adam is no whimp, that's for sure. My hats off to him. To be transparent, I'm not sure if I could do something similar with nearly the confidence and finesse with which he demonstrates it. Adam is truly maturing....
Yes, he could have responded with "perfect" answers... Answers that appeal to ideals for him, that sound the "best".... What maybe "should" be, what sounds good for TV, and what many of us might like to hear..... But, he answers directly, and with truth. He shows himself as a REAL person .... with much of the same life questions, struggle with self-doubt, frailties to failings, and on-going longings for love and fulfillment like the rest of us.
There is authenticity and emotional chutzpah to be found in this interview ... And It's pretty damn refreshing, actually. Gotta appreciate when someone is rather laid bare and doesn't hide ... Even when in front of potentially millions of people.
There's bound to be drama in relationships plus hopefully, a lot of love, understanding, positivity, compatibility, kindness and empathy ... the list goes on ... and one needs to take the bad with the good.
I don't believe that Adam yearns for domesticity. When he may feel a twinge, he can borrow it briefly from friends. He seems fond of the children in his life, Riff, of course, but also Carmit and Alisan's little ones. Other than his personal family, he has a wide circle of a family of friends. He can move in and out of domesticity at will, but still be free to live his party life and have no responsibility to one lover. That may be enough for him.
I think Adam will continue for some time, just gathering friends, who are also sometimes hook ups/ That is all he wants right now. He doesn't want anyone to tie him down, he wants freedom, with a capital F. That is another F word. When he feels like it in his own time, he spends personal time with his friends and sometimes even ex's. This is Adam's life, not ours.
I love Sauli, and wish him all happiness, but it might be better to fill his life with his own friends and work in his own country. Adam has been seeing him when he wants to and then, goes back to dating other guys. I understand that young people do this all the time, there is no commitment. That is very strange to me, in my world. I couldn't live in an open relationship. I hope that Sauli meant he doesn't have time for Adam, and just said work to soften it. Adam likes an open relationship, and stays single.
Adam does not want drama ("None") and he wants his relationship to be "harmonious and smooth sailing". Iguess he's gonna be alone for the rest of his life. There is always some kind of drama and life is not always harmonious. When he was with Sauli he said that "you have to accept other even with not so nice qualities". He called Sauli "firecracker". Maybe that was the problem: maybe there was TOO MUCH drama in their relationship. But "none" drama in a relationship -I don't think that will happen with anyone. Happy single days, Adam!
@9:20 AM Joey has been his date from Halloseen (over six months). He seems to be a guy with no drama. He smokes pot; maybe it relaxes him. And he seems also be a guy who does not worry too much about anything. Ideal companion for Adam.
Sauli has been in Finland since July 2014 (almost a year now), only visited LA for a short time during Xmas. Now he said he has no time to go to USA and told something he would like to do in Summer in Finland.
So, everyone can calm down: Sauli is not gonna be around Adam anymore. (And my sincere hope is it is permanent b/c I don't like him degrading himself by running to Adam when ever he snaps his fingers. Just my opinion.)

So once again Adam says Sauli isn't the one. Maybe some of the hopeful romantics here will finally listen.
When did he say that? I didn't hear it.

The crazy ones who think Adam and Sauli are still together will never see reason or believe what Adam or Sauli says.
Adam is just beautiful, enough said!!!!

10:13 PM, that was a lot of effort to drop a troll comment at the end.

wrong T word, not troll, truth.
No it's not the right T word truth. You have no idea that Adam was not faithful or for that matter you don't know Sauli was faithful.
Sauli is now a very good friend. This interview had nothing to do with Sauli at all.
Sauli still comes to LA about half of the year every year nobody forcing him to leave his career. That's what he chooses to do.

@11:02 PM
Sauli said a week ago that he doesn't have time to go to the USA.
It's very likely that he will never return to LA. His life and work are in Finland.

Joey is this months date, who will get the honor next month?
I hope Adam finds love again...he deserves to be happy.
I think he is happy, very happy.

Adam is totally free! Hooray!
RIP SAULBERT
It was romantic, as long as it lasted. I hope that they will respect each other yet.
