Yay! We worked hard and made it! Now it's more frosting on the cake. LOVE the San Francisco interview. Adam is SO funny and relaxed. What a personality! And of course, he the handsomest guy in the world. I mean it.
Interesting reaction from Adam when AI was mentioned and the guy said, "No one is watching." Adam responded with a kind of "hmm, eh," thing. He did say that he's a real "move on" person, not a looking back type.. I hope he's in a real forward motion mode right now that will take him WAY ahead.
The contestants on Idol are just not that good or interesting to have continued watching this season. Will any of the final three really have a music career after the show is finished? What happened to the last two winners? For me, Adam set the standard so high that most of the other contestants in the years that follow were all right, but I just couldn't invest time in watching each week as I did during season 8. I thought Adam was a great mentor, an excellent judge sitting in for Keith and an amazing duet partner when he performed with Angie Miller. I think Idol's time has passed with all the other talent shows on tv and its constant focus seems to be more on JLO, her hairstyle and the outfits she wears. I wish Adam all the best with this first single and the new album because it is his time for the recognition and success he so deserves.
