Adam Lambert believes he 'wouldn't run away' from a relationship.
The For Your Entertainment singer dated Finnish entertainment reporter Sauli Koskinen from November 2010 until April 2013. Following their split, Adam has remained single, and while he doesn't see that changing any time soon, he isn't purposefully avoiding romance.

I do miss Sauli though... they were so good together ♡

By mutual agreement, they decided to go single, and that seems to work for both of them. Adam has spent quite a bit of quality time with Sauli all this last year, until the beginning of this year. He probably will settle for someone who doesn't' have a conflicting work career. I t would have to be Sauli who would have to give up his work, and I don't think he would want that. Adam and Sauli seemed a perfect match and Adam said he was very contented in their relationship. I haven't figured out why they still seem to hang on, and not completely break, but that is all the time they have for each other. Adam has dated a few times, and Wouldn't be surprised if Sauli had not done the same.

He says his love for me could never die
But that'd change if he ever found out about you and I

Oh - but his love is cold
It wouldn't hurt him if he didn't know, 'cause...

When it gets too much
I need to feel your touch

I'm gonna run to you
I'm gonna run to you
Cause when the feelin's right I'm gonna run all night
I'm gonna run to you

He's got a heart of gold he'd never let me down
But you're the one that always turns me on
You keep me comin' 'round

I know his love is true
But it's so damn easy makin' love to you

I got my mind made up
I need to feel your touch

.
.
.

I need to feel your TOH!

:-)))

Adam does not run away from anything let alone love; how he manages to keep in close contact with his ex-boyfriends baffles me; won't and don't know how to do that. lwl! Such an amicable person will eventually find his true love; but his time and eligibility pool to find one is a bit limited; but he compensates that with his charm and talent. lwl!

Story time... > Ghost Town Road

Bert was on a sightseeing trip with Saul, his comrade and confidante. As they were cruising along a remote stretch of road, a sign with an arrow indicating Ghost Town Road caught their attention. Bert thought it strange because the estate looked ultra modern with high-rise condominiums. Saul made a left turn onto the road to find out more. Ghost Town looked extremely well-kept, spick-and-span but the strange thing was, no one was seen walking on the road nor in and out of those beautiful condo apartments. Saul parked his car outside a food outlet hoping to get a snack or a drink as they had been driving, sightseeing for over an hour. They peeked through the glass front-door and rang the bell. No answer. As they were about to leave, a lady came out hurriedly, smiling, opened the door and invited them in.
When asked why nobody lived in those beautiful apartments, the Chinese lady shook her head sadly and explained that times were hard and also people preferred to live in the city area that offered more varied affordable amenities.
They sat at table while the nice Chinese lady fixed them a simple meal...noodles with soup wonton; it was scrumptious, as both guys love Chinese cuisine.
After thanking the lady who was the sole restaurant owner cum cook cum waitress, they got back to their car and drove on.
In the car, Bert and Saul thought of a rather tantalising idea...they could start the ball rolling by buying a condo apartment and live there or use it as a holiday getaway.
And so it came to pass, they bought an apartment on Ghost Town Road. A year later, they opened a porkball/fishball noodle restaurant to complement the wonton noodle restaurant; side by side to the nice Chinese lady's.
Now, Bert is a great singer, his effervescent alto could kill dragon notes and send them flying lol! Yes, more and more people came and bought up the apartments and several more shops sprang up alongside Bert and Saul's; at least when business was bad, they could hear Bert wail out his songs, the latest being Ghost Town, so appropriate on Ghost Town Road. lwl! They seemed a perfect match from our distant viewing. We don't know them personally. We don't know they were a perfect match and obviously they don't think they were.

Adam and Sauli have moved on. I don't know why fans haven't. This is like your mom constantly asking you if you are going to get back together with the ex she liked so much. Just stop it.

One day, a Chinese gentleman came into Bert and Saul's restaurant. Saul being a very good cook, whipped up a delicious plate of porkball noodles, with freshly-cut red chili to spice up the noodles and also a bowl of wonton soup, a recipe he honed from the nice Chinese lady next door.
After his meal, the man looked a bit sad. Bert being very sensitive to others' feelings asked politely what was bothering him. The gentleman, Mr Chen, then related a very sad tale to Bert. Mr Chen said he has a daughter but lost her in a crowded fair and never heard from her again. Recently, he put out an ad, which he had done so many times but to no avail; this time he was going all out to trace her whereabouts. Mr Chen showed Bert a photograph of her little girl, about 7 years old then...now she should be in her twenties. So why did he, of all the places come to Ghost Town Road where hardly anyone lived. Mr Chen took out a piece of newspaper cutting and showed it to Bert; Mr Chen explained that the newspaper cutting showed a picture resembling his daughter, a bit blurry but he could make out her good-luck mole on her cheek. Bert read the translation...the young lady lived on Ghost Town Road !
Bert got really concerned now, he comforted Mr Chen and said he would try his best to look out for his long-lost daughter. You won't believe what he did...Bert and Mr Chen went knocking on doors...mostly vacant apartments. No luck and this went on for a while whenever Mr Chen came into the restaurant for the porkball noodles.
Then one afternoon...so near yet so far...it happened. Mingna, the wanton noodle lady next door came looking for Saul who had asked her to teach him the latest wanton soup recipe. As Mingna walked in, Mr Chen who was sitting all by himself, stood up...glared at Mingna who looked quite perplexed but felt a weird sense of deja-vu. Mr Chen uttered softly: Mingna! An instant flashback of the day she lost her father at the fair swept across her mind. They clasped their hands tightly and hugged; tears welled up in their eyes.
Bert was holding the plate of wonton noodles ordered by Mr Chen... froze on the spot when he witnessed this dramatic spectacular father and daughter reunion after more than a decade.
Saul, Bert, Mingna and her father sat at table and had a reunion feast of porkball noodles. Mingna contributed a scrumptious pot of steaming hot wonton, placed in the centre; everyone dug in; it was the latest recipe that she wanted to impart to Saul. From that day on, the two restaurants did a roaring business as they amalgamated into one large business, extending their special wanton business overseas.
Yes, many customers came not only for those special wontons but to hear Bert sing Ghost Town each night as it became a nostalgic hit with them, they loved the ghostly drums and whistles and most of all, Bert hitting those flying-dragon high notes. lwl!

Thank you Lam-My, that was a sweet story. You haven't lost your touch.

Hellooo Anne Marie.....my ardent Bert and Saul fan. Thank you!!
If I read between the lines of what Adam said, 'I wouldn't run from love'...I think he has not given up on Sauli entirely but both will not stop each other if they wish to be with someone else.

I think they have hit a road block, and that brick wall gets higher and higher, not sure if they can climb over it. Time will tell.

when did this become a fan fic site?

Adam and Sauli are done as a couple but remain friends. No biggie. It happens to other people too.

Adam has said over and over that he's single and he's not in love. The only thing he's dating is his TOH album.

You are so right, but why does he spend time with his ex? He said he is single for the last 2 years, and yet he spends time with his ex as often as he can. Not just an evening out, but 5 days vacations, weekends in Sweden, weeks in the UK, time at his home. Not so much since Feb of this year, because his ex was working. But both say adamantly that they are single, which gives each not to answer to the other, about attending parties or evenings out at clubs. It is quite a good life for both of them, to spend time with a trusted friend, occasionally. Gives Adam some rest time, away from the public. Adam keeps his friends, which is a good quality in him.

I must say I'm a bit curious to see will Adam and Sauli spend time together in Finland.

Hi Lam-My! \O/
A pleasant surprise The Ghost Town Road Story! Life came back to the empty streets and I loved the Eastern names in the story, it felt like you used "a magic wand" and I heard even the jingling sound of the wand:D! I like people finding each other in the stories and real life when odds seem to be against them, so thankey Lam-My:)))! ps.I even saw colours coming back to GT.;)

Whatever the quality of their relationship, form of their friendship fans of Adam (and/or Sauli) should just be happy for them... What good does it do anyway to be in unfriendly terms with your ex's? Or why are some fans here so hot & bothered of their friendship, will never understand. Having trustworthy, loyal friends, especially in the entertainment business, should be applauded, vigorously supported. So rare, so priceless.

Sauli didn´t give any interviews of Adams coming to Finland, when Seiska magazine asked him about that. He only told that he knows Adam is coming.

@12:24 PM Sauli has always been like that when it comes to Adam.

At this time in his life Adam doesn't seem to have time for a serious relationship with anyone. He has all the promos for the new album, GMA summer concert, other guest appearances and then his reunion with Queen to continue their tour. He seems to be constantly on the go from coast to coast. Besides having a successful recording career, I am sure eventually finding true love is important to him. Adam deserves to find happiness with someone who understands, accepts and loves him for the person he is.

Hellooo Kindred! Thank you always! And Anne Marie again!
Magic wand sounds exciting...Ting Ting Ting lol! Bert and Saul always bring on the magic.
These condominium ghost towns are real, I haven't checked on the latest scenario. I think the developers miscalculated.

3:23 PM Interesting ;) Shall we see Adam and Sauli together as friends any more. Their broke up seems to be done by Sauli.

Hi Lam-My!
Yes there are real ghost town places, especially when they build luxury suddenly somewhere and
then the circumstances change and the scenery becomes incredibly different, people leaving elsewhere. Your Magic wand would be handy on many places:)))!

Adam didn't tweet happy birthday for Sauli as he does for his friends and Sauli has said he is going to spend his summer in Finland. Maybe they found that friendship after broke up is not easy.

Hi! Every one deserves to be accepted as they are! I agree w you, when work becomes the number one priority, as it often is for a succesful artist and has to be, there can be difficulties to maintain(not impossible I guess) a serious relationship. IMO It's always easier if your partner is willing to give up one's own life or a big part of it just to be w you and love you.
IMO usually it's good to have an active life of your own, for both partners, friends and work and hobbies, a safety net around you, which means a lot of adjusting and more accepting both ways of course.
At this time Adam is sky rocketing up careerwise and that's good for him! I wish him the best luck!
Not A Know It All and not knowing what happened years ago with Adam and Sauli, I wish them a good life.
