Adam should be very proud for sticking to
His guns even when he was going against hard liners. He will never get the credit he deserves but we know how much he did.

Ghost Town is on both of the AT40 polls again this week. Can we get Adam a win on both polls again?

Well done. Now to extend anti-discrimination laws to protect members of the LGBT community in all 50 states.

JAK here.....That may be a long time coming. I cheered when the Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964, but it has not ended all discrimination.
I worked registering voters here in FL in the 60's, but we still have state officers discouraging voters (of the 'wrong' party).

This is a milestone and I sat in front of TV and cried at the announcement this morning. As a long time member of the ACLU I remember all the lawsuits filed to try to bring this civic freedom about. It's a great day.

But, we have so many people who are unwilling to live and let live. I don't care if my neighbors are a different race, sexual orientation, religion or political party.
I'm happy if they just mow their lawn, aren't too loud at bedtime and occasionally paint their house.

WOW! What a day in history! Equality! Tears in my eyes....

OT Did anyone trying to buy tickets for Morongo have success???? Looks like Lambertlust did! Congrats!
I tried and tried..no luck on the Pre-sale and no luck on the general sale. The venue only holds 1070 seats so I knew the chances were very slim. I'm gonna keep checking back though just in case any more seats were released.

@CT I tried and tried and couldn't get through since 10am yesterday. I and then a friend called the venue and they told me that they only had a few tickets and that she thought Ticketmaster was sold out as well. They told my friend they sold out in 20 seconds!! Lambertlust you were one of the lucky ones! Tickets are going fast on Stubhub and Vividseats but are about $200 each last I saw!

Ridiculous how this market works. Reminds me of radio.

I am so happy about this decision! It's about time. But as JAK so eloquently said in her own way, there is still a long way to go to actually change attitudes. Passing laws and legislation is one thing. It's a great step forward. But the final achievement occurs when people actually believe it is the right thing to do. There is still a long way to go in that regard. But in the meantime, it's a day for celebration!

Love the great, simple tweet from Adam -- and it's a beautiful post, @glitzylady -- thank you! The day has finally arrived.

Love conquers all! What a day!

It's a great day for equality, but don't expect anything to change for the people who don't believe it is right. There are many people who are against it.

@broddybounce
Agree with you and LOVE Adam's post!
EQUALITY!

ps. the text in that ruling sounds arcaic, but they all do! ;)

Proper English and grammar do sound arcaic today when so few people use it.
