Adam was perfect as usual, crowds loved him. Yea Finland.
He was wearing his new black fringed jacket, but black is never a good color for stage, needs a much lighter color to stand out, also Adam looks great in a white shirt, but I think it was cold there. So I guess wearing a jacket was needed. I got the gist that the people wanted more songs from him. But a good promo for him, Warner is doing a great job. Travels to Germany next I think.

Sounding and looking great! Nice lot of young fans screaming for him and enjoying him! Good for Adam! Yay WBR!

Thank you for bringing this video so quickly!!!

I actually teared up seeing the love they seem to have for him. A few young girls seem to be crying in the beginning of his performance.

What? Adam and others wear black on the stage all the time.

ADAM truly was sounding and looking great!
Love GT and it (too!) is even better when he sings the song LIVE!

All these people performing and working there were doing it for free. Nearly 1500 volunteers, 300 performers... So heart warming! They also honoured The Original Live Aid (Bob Geldof, Midge Ure & Co), almost exactly 30 years ago...

Such a shame about the weather; heard it's been an unusually cold and windy spring, beginning of summer.

Beautiful!!!

The blacker the berry the sweeter the juice. Adam looks mighty sweet and beautiful in his black attire! Tj.

That's the jacket we originally saw during some photo shoots; love it. Probably will be seeing a lot of black and white during the Ghost Town performances; no use complaining, may as well get use to it. Adam is going to do what he pleases when it comes to his performances and wardrobe he chooses for them! I love the way he looks!!

Also Sauli was there at the charity concert in Finland

The way he looked was flawless and his a great stage clot for him. He looks amaizing in it. Great performance. Fans love him.

It was a flawless Coe for him not clot.

@2:20pm

Thanks, I was hoping that he would be there. Do you know if he was there as one of the celebrities; or to see the show and Adam! Hope that get to spend a little time together; unless Adam has to leave the Country right away for more promotional!

Anonymous said...

Felt sorry for the little girl crying. She was so emotional; looks like Adam may have see her. He said he looks into the audience; unless she was too far away; so sweet!

2:29 PM

I think Sauli was there only to watch the show.

@2:29 PM
The photo is taken backstage. Sauli was listening to the concert there. I've heard that Adam is flying to Hamburg early Sunday morning. The first flight from Helsinki departs 8:30 AM. So they don't have much time to spend together if Adam leaves on that plane.

Anonymous said...

A friendly, get real LOL @all those who think Sauli was there only to see the show and especially to those thinking Adam and Sauli would not meet.

Anonymous said...

Is the crowd deaf?

Anonymous said...

Adam is Sauli's chokehold

Look at Adam's neck wear... LOVE it, always have! :)))

@3:05 PM
Or maybe they are just good friends and like to change news when they are at the same continent, even in same city?

Adam has said over and Sauli have remained such dear friends, with such equal love and respect for each other. Adam says he always holds a deep feeling for those few he has been in love with.

Anyone who tries to define their relationship with stupid little song bites seems pretty childish and clueless!! Attempting to guess the type of relationship they had or have, and you are wasting your time!!

I think it's rather the other way round... Remember for example the Mexico trip they were together during the last Christmas: I guess it was Adam who wanted specifically Sauli for his travel companion to the trip etc.

Anonymous said...

Just glad they had time to meet and that the friendship endures. Very very smart neither man tolerates a bunch of senseless questions about the other. Doesn't matter other people trying to define their relationship past or present, what matters is how Adam and Sauli define what matters to them.

Anonymous said...

I am glad that Adam and Sauli had a chance to say "hi", in that crowd. They haven't seen each other since Feb of this year. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Adam doesn't have Skype for all his out of town or country friends. I use it to see my sister. Would have been extra nice if they could have a meal together. This promo trip has been crazy for Adam, he will need some time off when he finally gets back to LA.

Must have been nice to see Sauli's face in the midst of such hectic promo. Adam is really working hard and it's got to be stressful, with all the traveling and little sleep. This is a really tight schedule, hope it pays off in sales. Foreign sales are earlier than ours, hoping it's really successful.

GREAT performance and the photos are a treat. <333

Hopefully one day, Adam will find his forever mate. Everyone deserves to love and be loved completely.

Here we go again.

Adam delivered a fantastic performance and he looked amazing. I was really happy to see that backstage pic with Sauli, regardless of the exact nature of their friendship.

Anonymous said...

Adam did not mention Sauli in his interviews and never has said publicly that they remained friends, someone working backstage took the picture to sell it to the scandal magazines...

Anonymous said...

2.29 PM
Adam was up v e r y late... he couldn't sleep, must be the light there in Finland that kept him up
So it think he won't catch that early flight to Germany. I looked there's another one 5.30pm so that must be it.

9.26 pm, u r wrong... Adam has said Sauli and he remain friends. Just not recent interviews...

Anonymous said...

Robin is soon 17 not 15.
Jari Sillanpää is Finlans best singer. Both are very popular. And Sauli is still very private.

Correct: Finlands

I'm so proud of Adam, he knows as we all know that the charitable concerts are not going to change the world, they don't make our world a better place, but he does know that it is our choice/duty, from time to time, to shake ourselves out of indifference/apathy and to be compassionate. Compassion towards ill children, the disfavored ones and , maybe , the silent God from Adam's Ghost Town will open the doors wide.

Anonymous said...

Pan, please don't say as WE all know. I do think, and have seen with my eyes, how charitable concerts and other charitable events do change things and make the world a better place.

How dare you tell Adam or the children who will benefit from today's concert or the Make A Wish Foundation concert Adam did that it made no difference and didn't change somebody's world.

@9:26 )M
So, if it's not friendship, what would you call their situation? Lust? So that every time they are in the same continent/city they have to meet and sleep together? I recall Adam said when they broke up that the split was amicable and they are still friends. You call him liar? When Sauli moved back to Finland, he said, "Adam is a very dear friend". You call him liar too?
Why do they like to see each other time to time (Stockholm, Mexico, Amsterdam, Liverpool, Helsinki) if they are not friends?

Adam refused to talk about Sauli now when he was in Finland. He did not say that they are not friends. He ementioned at only one interview that Sauli taught him a lot from Finnish culture and about Finns. The only thing I wondered in their friendship was Sauli's 30th birthday in March. Adam who had earlier congratulated him publicly in Twitter, did not do that anymore, as he usually does when there's his friend's birthday.

It was a nice surprise that our biggest tv-company YLE made news about Adam's gig. It was a good interview telling about his AI-time, Queen-time and new album. I think this short visit was a good PR-visit because there are a lot of people who did not know him or had some negative thoughts about him b/c of AI-fame (so many still think here that these kind of shows do not bring any good or talented artists). And there were lots of radio-interviews too.

Anonymous said...

11:48 PM
Correction: ementioned = mentioned

And 9:26 PM (not )M): One more question. What do you think: is it some kind of masochism or obsession to meet each other when ever it's possible even if you don't like the person anymore? Is this you think their situation is? Some kind of self torture.

There is a link to Warnermusicfi Snap_chat. It's from the backstage. Adam is seen from about 3.03 and Sauli is seen background a couple of times (best on about 3.20).

@12:19 AM
Haha! Sauli with low self esteem? Let me laugh. He is 30 years old. Is it a bit too old to end up in the escort business. He has trained a lot and looks better than ever but I don't think so. You must hate Sauli a lot b/c you want to downgrade him. He does not need your pity. He knows what he's doing. He makes his own money (and I'm sure that he does not care if you think it is not real job he is doing). He earns his own money and is happy now living in Finland. Isn't that enough? IMO it's not your business to say what is real job and what is not.

Thank you Admin that you deleted the 12:19 AM's rude comment!

Adam was fabulous! He has a crazy timetable and still what a performance!

Sauli obviously wants to avoid any rumours between him and Adam in Finland.

Yes, I dare, ms.?-who-is playing-the authoritarian-but -who -didn't-know/accept-that-Adam-is /has been-a-trendsetter-in -music!!!Yes, it is Adam who has helped revive funk, read Ms. Parker's review , again. I dare,( will you be so kind to keep your nerves under control, your syndrome has only one solution, action, action) because this is my opinion. Maybe , before getting too old,you'll learn THAT YOU, I, ALL, ARE ENTITLED TO OUR OPINIONS, THAT THERE IS NOT SUCH A THING AS CORRECT/INCORRECT OPINIONS !
Let me tell you a secret, my only reason for answering you is personal, as my English is not my mother tongue (or is this your real problem?!) I'm having a perfect opportunity to practice my English.

@2:04 AM
Don't read if you think this thread is nonsense! It's so easy.

Adam was great! He was a bit sleepy-looking on the interviews but professional is professional. When it was time to go to the stage and take photos with Finnish performers there was no sign of exhaustion. He was welcomed warmly. All people who have met him in Finland have talked about him nicely. And some young fan-girls who you can see in the front row are soooo excited (tweets)! Good promo, very good!

Anonymous said...

Pan, you said "as we all know." That does not make it sound like it is just your opinion. I don't understand what else you are talking about.

Pan said...

We, I , our fellow-fans, even you, all know that the 1885 LIVE AID ,organized, among others, by Bob Geldoff, was a"wake-up" signal, the famine from Ethiopia, was the famine problem in Africa solved? Unfortunately, not, the artists are only spokesmen, those in charge, the temporary leaders , they are the decision-makers.

Pan said...

No, I'm not going to spend my Sunday "playing ping pong " with my ...anon "friend"! An addenda to my second post though:...if these personal opinions are expressed in a civilized, respectful manner.

Anonymous said...

Sauli has no media attention un Finaland at the moment because of his career failure, all the focus was on Adam and much bigger and positive than ever, most of the Finns see Sauli's role in Adam's life as a toyboy;)

Anonymous said...

Pan, I would dare say building the children's hospital will change the world.... not only for the sick children at that moment but also for what they can then grow up to become. Also, I don't think Live Aid was suppose to end famine, just supposed to save people from dying at that time.

Anonymous said...

Thanking Adam Lambert for taking time from his busy, pretty much exhausting schedule and taking part in this charitable event, which I'm sure was highly appreciated by his existing loving fans (those with their hearts in the right place) not only in Finland but via support of modern technology and sharing fans all over the Adamlandia and also bythe organizers and other artists of this event.

Seen some thoughtless comments about Adam flying all the way to do just one song... by some entitled, disappointed fans perhaps not getting the bigger picture. It was so much more. You all (pun intended!) know what a kind hearted, thoughtful and trustworthy man, working partner, friend and human being Adam is. Plus he has a business to attend, promoting the hell out TOH!

Excellent GT performance - only his third LIVE performance of it and already crazy good! - and what screencaps of this beautiful gorgeous man, singer/artist, LIVE performer EXTRAORDINAIRE!!!

PS. Finland has one hell of a performer in Jari Sillanpaa (the leather jacket man in an insta pic w Adam), the man seems to be able to whatever music genre, has an excellent voice and a great sense of humour plus is one hell of a LIVE performer & a showman! Hope you got to see him doing "Gangnam Style" from yesterday's Helsinki show!

Anonymous said...

I wouldn't say this Live Aid concert in Helsinki was useless.So far over 2 million euros has been collected and everyone involved worked for free.
What comes to Saulis working situation, he has been working all the time since he moved back to Finland.Only short brakes for exampe when he was seeing Adam in Amsterdam and England.
There's haters all around the world,but generally he'sextreemly liked here in Finland.And this for his own sunny personality.

Anonymous said...

Well, should all the attention focus on ADAM at the moment. He came to Finland to promote his up coming album, not to talk about his personal life. And yes.... SAULI is personal matter to him. Even if Sauli was the president of Finland ( oh, he is but different Sauli... ) the media should only write about Adam during this 1 day visit. 1 interviewer apperently asked about Sauli but Adam said he
didn't want to talk about that subject. Because it's PERSONAL.
Oh but I was happy to see Sauli was w Adam yesterday. That is all we need to know, they r in good terms and yes... they are allowed to have sex too if they want
I don't see Sauli talking about Adam either, because again... it is PERSONAL

Anonymous said...

@4:02 AM
Are you serious? "Most of Finns see Sauli's role in Adam's life as a toyboy". Not true. Sauli makes his own living in his own way (hosting, modelling - KoneHelsinki for instance, making some advertising etc.). I think he does what he likes to do and as long as he earns his own money, it's nobody's business. I guess those Finns who have followed him know him and his situation with Adam (good friends) very well and most of those who don't know him so well or at all but know his name, may think he is AL's ex, or don't even know that he has been dating AL. This is my opinion.

I think it is a small hater-minority (there are people who hate all gays or who hate "reality-stars" etc.) who is so narrow-minded that calls him Adam's toyboy. (Maybe you belong to either of those groups?).

I am so sorry that one troll picked on you, it has always been me that she has picked on, especially if I commit the crime of saying 'we', in my comment. She is merciless and a bully. Just ignore if you can. I appreciated your comments, and look forward to seeing you on here again. It is mostly because we have the bravery to use our name. She has added fake names, when I call her out on it.

A thread about a Wonderful Charity Event and Adam's part in it should not and cannot end with the kind of posts above... no, no, no!

Forget about yourselves for a while, take a moment to appreciate the FACT that there are still people who are willing to donate their time & money for something worth while.
I'm sure most of these performers had still their own work and gigs to take care of, straight after this concert, weekends are busy times for entertainers.
omplete
So happy I had a chance to watch almost the whole concert, great artists - and then there was ADAM looking so gorgeously handsome and sounding vulnerable & fierce, and my day was complete.

Thank you for bringing the focus of this thread back to the Charity Event in Finland and to its purpose, which was to help children, something that Adam so generously supported.. And to our opportunity to see his performance of 'Ghost Town'...
