I have pre-orderd TOH but itunes won't let me purchase the single....strange..

That's odd because I was able to purchase...

Hmmm, i tried again, but all i was able to do is listen to the first minute or two. It does say i pre-ordered it and i was able to buy the other 4 but i can't get this one.....i'll try again tomorrow....

It allow me to purchase from clean version but still unable to download from the pre-ordered deluxe version. Is this normal?

@donna, same here. I too have pre-ordered the album on iTunes but I couldn't purchase the song. I was able to do that with the previous four songs. I will see what happens by tomorrow. So far it indicates that I have pre-ordered. Ah well, I know I will get it by Friday :)

This happened with the previously released songs. Initially you could only purchase them from the clean regular album, then later you could also buy it from the unedited deluxe version.

I got the email this morning Tuesday 9th on my phone at work. but had to wait till I got home to my iTunes account to put it on my ipod.
There it was automatically added to my "recently added" Magic. I quite like it, but still like Another lonely night best.

I am rushing so I hope this comes out right. I also had problems purchasing singles on iTunes (I had pre-ordered delux). In the end, what I think I did (because I tried several different things) was I went into the Top Tens lists for Pop, and I found the song (EITN, ALN for example) listed there, and I purchased it in that manner, and it worked for me. Now, I don't know if TOH single has made it into the top 100 for the iTunes Pop category, so I don't know if that will make a difference. Again, for, I think it was, Underground & EITN & ALN, those songs, when I was trying to purchase them unsuccessfully through different "windows/screens" on iTunes, those songs were all in the top 100 iTunes Pop songs at that time, and I purchased them through that screen successfully! And yes, there was something about clean vs. explicit, like, I think maybe the clean versions of the songs were the ones listed in the iTunes Top 100 pop song list. Oh gosh, I hope that made sense, yikes, it was kooky, but I was able to purchase the songs that way. :). Have a good day all.

Ok, i got the email from Itunes this morning that i could download TOH. So i went to the site and tried AGAIN to download it.
Again, no luck.
So.....i did a bit of research and i guess my problem has been that i've been trying to download the "explicit" version!
I finally was able to download the "clean" version.....and now i'm happy as a pig in shit.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's definitely my veryyyyy favorite song so far!!!

Type The Original High on iTunes search box. You'll see it under songs. There are three of them to purchase since there are three Toh albums on iTunes.

I think that The Original High Album is a leap forward in Adam's career, this album finally can propel him higher than the stars.Overall ,the album is good, some songs are more than that, Lucy, Ghost Town, The Original High, Evil In The Night are astonishing, some lyrics are beyond average, vocally,Adam is a marvel, and so important to his American fans, Adam looks stunning, I think that he has never looked better.The auguries look favorable.I've listened to the album with all the objectivity I'm capable of , I must confess, with extra attention for the songs which, in my opinion, have the best potential to appeal to large masses of listeners/viewers. And when I say "large" I mean fans, young, not so young, non-fans, different taste, but who ,at the end of the day ,are all are music lovers , lovers of great voices.(more or less, but this is another topic) Normally, the album,will hit the charts, I'm a bit skeptical about big sales, I wonder, do people, not hard core fans , still buy albums of artists others than their idols?
Specialists say that touring is the way,I also say, concerts, as many as possible.

Well 9:11, perhaps you don't know everyone's experiences or desires, because waiting was not an option for some people (I have no judgement on that :)), and that's what 11:25's option requires, albeit a very short time period. And 7:59 - thank you, but that did not work for me, which could have been a device issue I suppose, but I assure you, I was performing the procedure or process correctly by using the search box, I don't know why the green buy button did not respond/work properly and download the song correctly, but I was able to buy songs from the I-Tunes Pop Songs Top 100 list as described above somewhere. Again, could have been a device issue for me, idk, just telling you what my experience was.

I am glad to see you again, I missed you! You were right, our days, touring is the way of making money and new fans. Unfortunately, the tour is guaranteed when a significant number of albums are sold – or at least this is the “old fashion way” of managing the process.
I really hope Adam will tour; as you know – unfortunately – I missed the Queen concert.

Let’s wish Adam great success and many, many, many concerts all over the world.

P.S. Adam looks stunning, right when I was thinking he can’t get any better, he did it again, as always. I don’t complain at all.
I have to run; I am at work, lunch break. I hope we’ll get in touch this weekend.

I also got the email from iTunes that TOH was available for DL (I had preordered the Deluxe version of the album and bought all the singles too as they became available for purchase. Today I went to my iTunes account to try and DL TOH but I couldn't. Then I went to my iTunes Recently Purchased section and there it was! TOH was already downloaded to my library! Now it's on my iPod.....I'm a very happy Glambert! I cannot wait until the 16th so I can get all the rest of the songs. What a fantastic CD!

10:05 am, there is no waiting. Go buy it from the clean album.
