Actually, he reminds me of Ricky Nelson more.

The only ONLY resemblance I have ever seen between Adam and Elvis is that Adam has occasionally borrowed the
Elvis hair style. This photo of Elvis is a perfect example...eyes-no, cheekbones-no, lips-no, chin-no.

I do see that Adam is going thru an Elvis/James Dean period. They were "hot stuff" in their day so their inspiration wears well on Adam....
Who is presently "hot stuff".

P.S. Packy05.......I met Ricky Nelson decades ago. His blue eyes were so beautiful I couldn't remember a thing he said to me.

I'm thinking Adam's comment about "inspiration" is about the fashion and the hair style..

I don't feel that they resemble each other all that much physically..

I agree with others. Adam's hair may be similar at time, but he does NOT look like Elvis. He's much better looking than Elvis, and his vocal style is not the same at all. Adam is Adam, and he may be inspired by Bowie, Freddie, Elvis, etc., but he's unique.

IMO Adam is a much deeper individual which adds to his sexiness (and more gorgeous)! I loved to hear Elvis sing but beyond that he really didn't hold my interest. He was very handsome, but something was missing. However, to the rest of the world, Elvis was king!
As for Ricky Nelson - he was gorgeous! Some people called my young husband "Ricky". Funny - at the time I never noticed - just too much in love I guess!

There are pics of ELVIS on his 1968 TV 'Comeback Special' where he was dressed in an all leather black suit that I would say was the closest 'comparison' between him & ADAM .... this pic ... not at all! ELVIS was handsome but not in the same way as ADAM ... ADAM is GORGEOUS!! I LOVE them BOTH but ADAM has a Unique look & Style!! .. If I were to make a comparison it would be Rock Hudson when he was appearing in all the movies opposite Doris Day .... he was really something then!! .. JMO

Tess (LAMBERT Outlaw) ..... I listened, and occasionally peeked, at that Elvis 68 Special video just recently! I remember when I bought it, I was very upset because he talked too much. He was not funny and he was not articulate. When I watch it I fast forward thru his awkward chatter. But he could sing.....when I'm having a fitful night, his ballads and gospel songs on my playlist ease me off to sleep. He and Willie Nelson sing me to sleep, and sometimes Johnny Mathis. Gosh, I'm old!

There was that one pic awhile back that had a similar pose of Adam and Elvis and they looked remarkably alike. I think it was more a profile pic tho. And JAK - I may not be as old as you (but kinda close, I think) and I too love Willie singing 'Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground' and Johnny Mathis with 'Chances Are' - both among my favorites. BUT, in today's world I am all about ADAM!

The only resemblance that I see between Adam and Elvis is two remarkable artists that stand out. I hope that Adam does not get carried away with this thing but the fact that Roger Taylor described him as a "dark Elvis" didn't help either. I'm not fond of comparisons. Too much pressure and too little freedom to be your authentic self.
