Well, since Adam is funny...I'll accompany him with a weird fox tale...based on Fables.

One fine afternoon, Bert was walking along an orchard on some no-man's land. Then, he came upon a bunch of juicy red grapes dangling within reach, on a grapevine. He plucked a few and whoa! they tasted so sweet and juicy.
Along came Foxy Loxy.....Hellooo Foxy Loxy! Long time no see, where have you been...Foxy smiled and side-glanced at the bunch of dangling grapes which it couldn't reach.
Here, have some...Bert plucked a small bunch for Foxy Loxy. Instead of thanking Bert, it sniffed and said: Er no...they're probably sour! Bert assured that they were sweet and juicy, and went on his way. Foxy walked off in the opposite direction.
After Bert had gone off, Foxy sneaked back...looked up at the bunch of red grapes. With a huff and a puff...it leaped into the air ! to snare the grapes...it wanted all. Oh oh, it missed by just inches. He jumped again, no, this time it was worse, quite far below the dangling luscious vine...tried a couple of times more, no luck.
Then, a crow flew onto the grapevine and started pecking at the juicy grapes. Alas, Foxy was not offered any, unlike what Bert did. In fact Crow taunted Foxy...Na na na na you cannot get me...Foxy was soon salivating. It decided to give it one last jump...leaped into the air ! By golly, he snared a few grapes along with a mouthful of crow feathers. Oooh-la-la that was a close shave for Crow. Now, can you imagine Foxy's mouth with some grapes and a big bunch of feathers...lol! Crow flew off in the nick of time with the whole bunch of grapes.
Down-crested, with droopy tail, Foxy sauntered off, muttering... Ahh, those grapes must be sour and that crow is too skinny, not my cup of tea.
The moral of the story....well, acceptance, gratitude...you may not get back what was offered, on a silver plate. Know one's strengths as well as weaknesses. What does the fox have to say this time...lwl!
