And Idolator reports:

"Adam Lambert is already moving on to the next single internationally. Which appears to be 'Another Lonely Night' — at least if a tweet by Warner Music South Africa is any indication."

"...it’s fairly common to drop different tracks in different markets..."

"If the label opts for a different single stateside, I hope it’s the title track because that’s another killer jam with broad appeal."

Well, if it's ALN in the US and TOH in the rest of the world, I guess that's not a bad thing, right? The exposure for both songs tends to expand beyond borders, esp. with the way music is spread through YouTube and a million other ways worldwide. Guess we'll know pretty soon how the next single will be handled. I LOVE both songs. Both are strong, radio-friendly hits in the making.

This is a little off topic but I thought it would be interesting. I have been voting on this site "http://www.at40.com/pages/who-will-be-number-1 site:at40.com" Did anyone happen to notice that one of the entires is R. City featuring Adam Lambert? I went on youtube and the name I found was Adam Levine. What??? Can't believe how much this happens with the names. Seems like someone should be checking the entries.

Any song from TOH album is fine with me ... there isn't one I dislike ... LOVE them all!! Go WB ... spread them all over the world in different markets ... they are ALL Great!! Radio should go back to playing all the songs from the albums & letting the PUBLIC choose which ones they want to hear by REQUEST ... like they did years (many moons) ago!! IMO ...

@Dee: I think you meant TOH in US and ALN in the rest of the world as ALN is the song that was confirmed for South Africa -- the US's single has not been confirmed yet, although it may very well likely be ALN.

@Lynn: Yup, confusion between the two Adams has been going on for a long time now, happens every so often, and whomever prints it that way usually eventually figures it out -- or sometimes the correction happens when one of us Adam LAMBERT fans have to tell them so! :)

If you have bought the album, there would also be a separate place to buy the ALN single on iTunes, is this right. Nothing showing in NZ iTunes.

@jaycee: As Warner Music South Africa is the only one of the Warner Music divisions to officially announce ALN as the single for their country, and as per their tweet, I believe the only place to get it is via iTunes in South Africa, at least as far as I can tell. I'm not 100% positive but I think that the way iTunes works is that each country's version of it is only accessible to persons living in that country -- in this case, South Africa.

broddy, oops, you're right. I got it backwards. :)

I always love the Lambert/Levine confusion because it is virtually ALWAYS Levine being called Lambert by mistake and never the other way around, at least that I can remember. Shows whose name is on the writer's radar.
