Adam Lambert, 33, once flaunted cheetah prints, peacock-blue frosted hair, neon tanks and suits with spikes. But lately the American Idol alum -- now touring the world to promote his third album, The Original High (which hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200) -- has switched his fashion influences from glam divas to more traditional heartthrobs.
"I've put down a lot of the makeup. I put the flat iron in the attic. I'm looking at people like Elvis and James Dean," says the Indianapolis native of his new look. (And yet, there's an undeniable dose of George Michael, too.)

He's gotten to be such a friend, even though I've never met him. I've come to love his voice and his smile and his jokes. He's just a comfortable person to watch and listen to. And onstage, he is ON FIRE. Love this video. He's s relaxed. He can make fun of himself. He seems so normal, like any person you'd meet and grow to like.
Thank you Billboard for such a cool photoshoot - Adam is at his most handsome when he is relaxed - humma humma.
From the beginning . . . I thought that Adam was a "walking piece of art"
Holy cow I had to rewatch this a couple of times then pick my chin up off the floor. He looks so handsome! He has all these little things about him that are just so darned irresistible!
