Story time...Don't Cry For Me Argentina...Bert and Saul...


An antique Viking ship was swirling and tossing in the turbulent Baltic Sea. A Viking by the name of Bert Fiero was trying to keep his ship on course. Alas, the ship's hull got stuck in a huge advancing iceberg. Bert Fiero panicked but managed to release a fiery flare into the sky to signal sos! He waited for almost an hour...His strength was fast depleting in the icy cold Baltic. Suddenly, he saw a man flying towards him in a jetpack. Whoa! Bert Fiero waved frantically and the jetpacker hovered above the fast sinking Viking ship.
He then lowered a cable in an attempt to heave Bert up. The cable was blown wildly about in the gusty storm. There was no way Bert could get hold of his only lifeline. The jetpacker knew he had to work fast as the ship's hull was already tilting at 45 degrees below the freezing water.
He zoomed down directly towards Bert, extended his hand to catch his. After several failed attempts, Bert finally caught hold of the jetpacker's gloved hand. He was very strong, pulled Bert up; then with much deftness, strapped him to his jetpack.They zoomed away to safety. Bert fell in and out of consciousness and suddenly heard a familiar song in the wind...

They landed on a remote island. Bert was exhausted and konged out on the sand. When he came to...a low, heartwarming voice greeted him. The expert jetpacker introduced himself as Saul Bond. Bert was so grateful to Saul Bond who saved his life; he would have frozen to death if he had fallen into the turbulent sea, strewn with icebergs.
Since then, Bert and Saul became very close buddies...in fact, it might have been destiny; they fell in love one night under a magnificent display of aurora borealis; sealed with a kiss.
Alas, as time went on, they saw less and less of each other, due to their own commitments and soon drifted apart. The strange thing though...they never really broke up...Mmm, I see a restored Viking ship anchored in the far-off horizon...lwl!

You did it again Lam-My, great story. The only change I would make, is in the first line of the song, I would change Argentina, to Sauli. It seems to fit. Some one said on another site, it's odd that the media hasn't picked up on them. Also the haters seem to have drifted away, but maybe because we have to sign in now, it has cleaned up a lot of mean things that were said about their relationship.

These guys still have a magical connection. Still sharing special times in great places. They get to do normal sightseeing and definitely have an enduring connection and friendship. Nice.

Yup you don't have to be a rocket Scientist to put two and two together. These guys know that. I think its so cute, love they are together for whatever reason. So happy Adam is not lonely.

Of all Adams friends, I think Sauli knows him best, possibly because he lived with him for two years. I am sure Adam can tell Sauli his most inner most thoughts, and Sauli would understand, and that would work both ways for them. It must be a happy and peaceful time for Adam, or else I would think that he would have stopped inviting him to stay with him. It's been two and a half years since they changed households. I won't say split up, because, I haven't actually seen that happen. They have both got on with their careers, and that was obviously needed, but they still keep in very close contact. I also think they have both matured a lot over the last couple of years. When they post pictures, I don't think it is spying on their personal lives. But I am sure they don't want the media seeing them together in the same picture.

It's obvious to me that both Sauli and Adam don't mind us fans knowing that they are spending time together. They could have certainly kept it a secret, but they chose not to. May be they want to tell us something without giving the media a chance to have a field day with it. I'm happy for Adam regardless of the exact nature of his relationship with Sauli. Sometimes it's better and less pressure to not even put a label on something. I just realized that Adam hasn't "declared" his relationship status in a while. He probably got tired of these questions and may have asked to not even raise the subject. He looks very radiant right now.

Whatever their exact status is we know those horny pretty boys won't be keeping their hands off of each other...somebody's getting recharged before concert ;)

Omg, people...It's really, really nice that you liked Adam and Sauli being together in THAT way, but all this your speculating is getting out of line.
Adam says that he is single in the media so also to his fans.
He claims Sauli is his close friend only.
I don't see any really good reason that would make them hide their relationship.
Adam has always been so open for us.
The fact they spend time together sometimes doesn't mean they got back together.
Friends do spend time together, too. Or maybe you guys think that only lovers spend time together? O.o
So please don't put Adam or Sauli in a liar role. cause this is just disgusting.
They have been together before and the world has known it. And nothing bad happened.
I just don't see the reason.
But you guys, create a world when they're still together in that way just because it sounds good for you but you don't wanna believe it really can be friendship as they say.

The fact of the matter is no one knows, not even you ! if they are just friends or more than that...So lighten up! Like Adam says: Don't take everything so seriously; life is full of surprises. Meanwhile, we're just having some light-hearted moments.

It's nice to have a friend that can go traveling with you . . . especially when neither one has seen these places before . .

I agree with Sunshine834...Adam has stated many times that he is single and I think we should respect. Have fun Adam and Sauli.

What's with you losing it? Who cares? I'm sure Adam doesn't mind some light-hearted speculation or they wouldn't have posted pics and liked each others' pics. He said he was single in the past but it doesn't mean they can't hook up again. It doesn't matter one way or the other as long he's happy. Though you must be naive if you think Sauli flew all that way to just stroll around with him and catch up on gossip. People can't be just close buddies with their exes. I would know. You don't just hang out with your hot young ex and then shake hands and go back to your separate rooms.

Adam and Sauli have both said and still say they are single, I accept that as fact, but that does not mean that they don't see each other when possible. They are just not in a committed relationship, (yet). Sauli has been the only person of all Adam's friends that he has invited to share some vacations or time with him. He has a huge amount of close friends, that he has known a lot longer than he has known Sauli. Adam and Sauli are well aware of what the media would do if they said they were in a relationship. Neither of them want that. At this time they are having a nice time together, doing what they both love doing, a little travelling and seeing a new country that neither have been to before. Sauli has obviously been invited by Adam, I will repeat, as far as we know, and we don't really know anything really, they are not at this time anything but living the single life. They are not together in the conventional sense. Neither has been in another relationship over the last two and half years. They have been seeing each other during that time numerous times, when Sauli has been in CA he has been seen coming and going from Adam's home, not just vacations. I have a full private life, but also enjoy anything Adam related, not just his singing and career. I only know what is publicly related. I am happy to see Adam having some time with a very dear friend, who appears to have a special place in his heart. No one can predict the future, so I don't attempt it, just going by day to day events. Adam says during his tour that he is not in love, I think that is directed toward the media, because he is always being asked. Right now he is being besieged by the media of all kinds.

Craig, I think you're right. I don't think they're just shaking hands. But that doesn't mean they're back as a couple either. Since we love Sauli, it's always cool to see them together, and they seem to make an effort to do it.

sunshine834, thanks for the good points. I agree, we don't know what for sure what is going on between Adam and Sauli and we shouldn't be projecting our experiences, wishes and "knowledge" on to them. It's really none of our business. Love and peace to you too.

Unknown, I don't think we are projecting anything that might be going on with Sauli and Adam. I think we can be sure that they are very good friends. If they show pictures of where they are together, then I tend to believe that. If we are fans of them, they seem to make it our business, by being so open about it. I love Adam's music, and I make it my business to see how he is progressing in his career. I love everything Adam, music, hair styles, clothing styles, his favorite foods and who he is friends with. All are of interest to me, and I am not encroaching any of my own ideas about his life. I only go by what he says and pictures he posts. He shares a partial bit of his private life, not all, but enough to keep his fans happy. He loves his glamberts.

I'm curious to know if the press ever did gossip about Adam's love life post idol? I mean he's not quite the Kardashian of media so I don't see why he'd be worried that the press will be all over his private life (I mean major press outlets beside minor interviews), not that any coverage will be bad publicity. I'll be surprised if the press give his life that much attention.

I'm always happy when I find out that Adam and Sauli are spending time together. Still, I am not making predictions nor do I pretend to know what the exact status of their relationship is right now. What matters to me is that they willingly shared pictures of the same sites with us knowing that at least some lighthearted gossip will follow. They are probably having fun with it. I found it quite amusing actually that Sauli even snapchatted from his walk in the rain in Buenos Aires pretending to be in town for "some shopping" haha. I think "it ain't that deep" as long as we fans don't become intrusive. Being a bit excited about their "good times" together can't be a bad thing though. It's not like we were stalking them.

@Craig Furges, there has been quite some coverage on Adam and Sauli definitely in Finnish but also in US media. Generally speaking, I agree that it isn't bad publicity.

When they were in a relationship, the paparazzi took every opportunity to take pictures of them together. Sauli didn't like it, and saw no reason for pictures, when they were just in a store shopping or hiking. Always when they went to a night club, papps were there from when they went into the club, and when they came out. Now, Adam is a much huger star, and Sauli is quite a celebrity in Finland too, so the papps would have no mercy. Adam has seen too much of things that he has said, that has been twisted to mean something entirely different. Adam is a world wide super star now, and any relationship will be picked to the bones. Right now, with his new album, he is actually seeking publicity to promote it. The questions that some interviewers ask, are unbelievable, like which way does he fold or crumple his toilet paper when he uses it. That's just a sample.

What's Sauli celebrity for and what has he been doing? I have no idea. An actual celeb or someone with a reputation on Social media?

Over the last few years, Sauli has been on Big Brother, and won it, also skating with the stars and won it. He has done My best Friend in CA and it was televised, he has been host to numerous fashion shows, and has lately been hosting something called Namu, which has been on going for several months. These are just a few things, that I remember. I know there are more, he has been steadily working in the media for several years now. His visa situation has stopped him from doing any actual jobs in the USA. He is very well known and much loved in Finland, and now has followers from all over the world, partly because of his friendship with Adam. Adam was never involved in any work that Sauli did, he did that through his own accomplishments and talent, and plus good looks and a very sunny disposition, not unlike Adam.
