tess, I am SO sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. It must be a very difficult time for you. It takes quite a while to feel some kind of normalcy. I lost my mother, too, and we were very close. I hope you have others in your life to help you get through this very hard period. The more support you can get, the better. And please remember that even though you don't know us personally here on 24/7, we are still a FAMILY. We have a common bond of light and love here with Adam.. We do know each other in many ways, even if we've never met face to face. I'm sure things will get better in time. Hang in there.

@Lambert Outlaw and Dee R Gee......

The fact the people are so sweet on here makes sharing not only our love for all things Adam but knowing that sharing stuff that's not so very great and personal somehow just a little easier. I too lost my mom a few years ago and while it's still painful (truly never goes away 100%) it does become easier. For me the pain started to ebb when I was able to hear her laughter again, then I could see her smile and even as a little girl her laughter never failed to made things better. Living becomes easier, life begins to move again sometimes gently or crashing like waves in the ocean....As you see your way through the next few months or so you'll begin to experience the joy that is your mom and be able to embrace your memories of her, her smile and laughter will be your medicine when heartache comes knocking.

For me I can hear my mom in the breeze, her smile and laughter come to me gently and surrounds me, lightens my heavy heart and it never fails to put a smile on my face for I know my angel as touched me.......

Take care and be at ease, your never alone......8-)

Thank you Dee R Gee ... I am fortunate to have a loving husband & family ... I even care for my great grandson 2 yo so he keeps me busy putting everything up where he can't reach. Mom would have been 98 yo this October ... even so ... I still find it hard to let go. I'm now faced with the task of sending Thank You cards to everyone ... what do I say? Thank you seems so empty & inadequate ... my heart is so full of gratitude to everyone who cared about her ... there were so many that I don't even know. I shouldn't burden you with all this but ... nevertheless ... I just wanted to say Thank You Fellow Glambert for your kindness. GOD will strengthen me to pick up my life & try harder ... my one comfort is knowing through Faith that she is now in the arms of our LORD free from pain & sorrow. GOD Bless You for caring!! Light 'n Love ... tess

@ICU2,~}INVU4URAQT ... Thank you for your kind words of support. I'm trying to get through each day as it comes without crying but haven't been able to yet. The tears seem to help wash away some of the pain ... but not completely. Thank you again!! Light 'n Love ... tess

@tess, I'm sending you a virtual hug. I, too lost my mom a few years ago, so I get it. There is no one quite like Mom. May your pain be less and less with each passing day. No doubt she is in a better place.

@Daydreaminmylif ... Thank you for caring ... I was feeling very sad when I wrote that comment ... tears still fall when I think of her but as you said she is in a better place & I am finding comfort in knowing that all her pain & suffering are over. Thank you & all my fellow Glamberts here at 24/7 ... it is truly like having an extended family here. Light & Love to you ALL ....
