Looks like a landslide victory for Queen and Adam, for Best Rock In Rio 30 years, hands down. Well, it's difficult to beat Three Maestros, and Freddie.
Adam spearheaded the extravaganza, I'd say; but he got the Best Band behind him, Queen. So is it not time to formerly inaugurate Adam with the Queen baptism by fire; wearing his own proper shoes...lol! In any case I've already knighted him from years ago as Knight of the Night...now, do you believe me...lol!

Now I'm overwhelmed with mixed emotions :pride, joy, satisfaction, melancholy, regrets, but the conclusion, yes , shamefully , it's time for us to draw a partial conclusion , is mission accomplished ! Yes , it was carried out successfully, but did you think for only one moment that everything envisioned by Brian and Roger could have failed miserably? We're old enough to know that nothing, nobody, neither 2 musicians of genius nor their front man with an arresting voice, an amazing grace, could have guaranteed success, fans, especially Queen fans are hard to convince, tough nuts to crack. I could understand them completely only when I put myself in their shoes, thinking , o, god , what if my Bruce Dickinson... .This is another reason to appreciate their triumphant world tour much more.
I thank them all, Roger and Brian for being visionary and sound in judgement, Adam for being so good, concert after concert , for being so patient and dedicated, who could have endured to be compared to late Freddie Mercury , again and again, by reviewers in desperate need of original approaches, the band, Neil, Spike, Rufus.
One tiny regret, Lucy, will her time come, some day?

Hey there Pan! That's one mighty fine piece of appraisal and conclusion...great writing! Yep, they'll shelve QAL for a while until they get invitations; meanwhile Lucy stays Underground. Even if Adam debuts it on a potential world tour, Queen won't be the band and we know what a huge difference that makes. But Queen and Adam Lambert will stay as One! for sure.

Again, spot on, true , they'll shelve QAL( and Lucy) until they get invitations, famous as Brian and Roger are, this is not an issue. My worst fear is that Lucy being so different from all the other songs on the album, I think it has the most powerful sound, all the other songs' arrangements/instruments can be replaced by Adam's voice easily, this one needs good synth, guitar, drum players, and unfortunately , till now, it hasn't happened.
