That "Trending" may be directly related to the Petition just put out to ban Adam from the NYE Singapore concert. and not necessarily flattering. Hope I'm wrong...but the timing works.

Heard the same thing. Some "group" posted very old photos of Adam in more suggestive poses than he has done in a very long time. They started a petition to ban him from the NYE show. But there is a counter-petition started now, too, that is also growing. Hope this all blows over and he gets to perform. Never a dull moment in Lambert-Land.

I was hoping this wouldn't pop up here...

I doubt the petition will have any effect on Adam's appearance at the show..

I hope he gets to perform there...I also hope he doesn't get booed there that would break my heart...Adam would be OK since he's so loved every place else that I can...I just don't want him to start the New Year on a sour note.

I Love The Light, I checked out the petition site you gave, and it seems to be written for..
"We, the people of Singapore", and seems to require a Singapore (or vicinity) address to be considered for the petition. Too bad we can't help.

The petition now has almost 7,200 signatures. I signed it along with many other people from countries all over the world. The support shown for Adam in the comments was heartwarming.

I also commented on and signed the "counter petition"... I felt it was fine to support Adam and to show my respect and appreciation for him in the face of the hateful petition submitted by those who would have him pulled from the show.. I have given the negative petition no attention other than to be aware of what it says.. The thinking was originally to simply ignore the petition but in the face of media attention it felt right to comment on and sign the one in support of Adam..

And as @gah/rpm said above, there are people from all over the world supporting Adam Lambert, with many many from Singapore.. Many of the comments are in the vein of "Just let the man sing...". I do hope Adam does NOT read the original petition, but he would undoubtedly feel the love coming at him from the many comments of support in the counter petition..

LOL just did a search on Adam and part of me is loving the media publicity and think Adam is laughing his butt of. It's sad that media jut loves to cover negativity and "Scandal" whether it was his original AMA hysteria or Demi nonsense, but at the end there is no bad publicity, esp that mentioned his new video. Think the "controversy" is going to give the views a boost!
