If I Had You was so popular in Singapore, it stayed at No.1 on the music charts for 3+ months. When Adam sang it live at The Padang (WWII historical site), someone recorded it on video, from her hotel window-sill across the road; it sounded as if Adam was singing from the sky. Also, a student-cadet group used it as a march because of the original heavy drum backing / march beat. This swing beat is good for the quick 3-step waltz, my favourite partying dance. So, looks like Adam may bring it onto The Marina Float. This is not my favourite but like it a lot; my favourites from the Glam Nation album is Fever ! which was also No. 1 for many weeks on the Sing music charts; also loved Soaked, Strut, Sleepwalker etc.
Sounds like a huge hit to me ! Hey Adam, make sure you sing this on The Marina Float; young and ole Singaporeans love this kind of fierceness! lwl! Remember, some may even record/video it from their hotel window-sill. lol! Those high notes...no one else will come close! Yes, some will manage with a bit of shaky shaky. lwl! Brian/Queen and Adam never fail! Now, my favourite ALN better hang on tight...otherwise Lucay may shoot it down lol!
There was quite a bit of angsting on some fan sites about the St. Louis show with Pentatonix, and the make-up of the audience, young, old, Penta fans leaving early to do a M&G during Adam's set, etc. etc.
These radio shows have been a mixed bag. The line-ups are often rather oddly mixed, with a teen-oriented act on the bill someone like Adam who (although he has younger fans) is really an entertainer for grownups. I know was late going on in KC and it got on some people's nerves and some probably non-Adam fans didn't stay anyway, but I'm so glad that when he did come out, he was so GREAT. I think he knew his core was right there in front of him and he poured on the camp and swagger and little more just for them. He is at his best in front of his own fans who really get it and love him for who he is. Period. Can't wait for the TOH tour and QAL in 2016!
