My personal take is parts I liked, but too much emphasis on the techno effects. I think the music should frame & enhance the artist & not compete with him. Adam always sounds phenomenal, but the sound effects a little overpowering, competing with the main focus, which should be Adam. :)

I agree. A voice like his doesn't need to be lost in the muddle of too much extraneous musical noise. Adam likes that electro sound, though. I like it a little, but can do without it. Adam's voice is pure joy to me.

I'm not a fan of remixes and this one is no exception. Still, I will buy the EP as soon as it becomes available as I want to help boost the single this way. Isn't that the major purpose of remixes anyways? Crazy, isn't it? I would only do it for Adam. In general, I tend to almost exclusively prefer the original, except when Adam strips down and goes acoustic :) That's pure gold. Get it, Adam?

This remix is waaaaaaaaaay too cluttered for my taste. It obscures Adam's vocals while trying too hard to add a new twist to an somewhat weird melody to begin with, one that only Adam's voice can redeem. The Logan mashup of ALN --Adam with Halsey--- is light-years better than this troubling remix.
