Adam Lambert 24/7 News

I only know of Leona Lewis from her first big hit. Listened to a recent interview and found that she and Adam share quite a few professional commonalities. They are both from Simon Cowell talent shows. She took a break and recently left Simon's label after being advised to do covers of a specific genre for her next album, which did not resonate with her. She just released a new album with a new label which is emotionally relevant to her, and lives on the outskirts of LA. She is absolutely lovely and sweet on the same level as Adam, I can only hope that they make magic together. If so,perhaps they can be future co-headliners as they are both fantastic vocalists ( and really nice people)and ready to go to the next level of their careers.

He killed it! When he hit those high notes they were applauding before the song was over.

Adam was amazing and those high notes, wow! Everyone started clapping and cheering when he sang. And Leona was great too! They made magic together tonight!!

He knocked their socks off!.... mine too! I can't help but remember on Idol when Cara said ..."So Adam Lambert Does Country Music!" But he DID! And it was gorgeous! So were both of them, vocally and physically! I'm sure the country music world, and the song writers of "Girl Crush" were surprised, touched and flattered by Adam and Leona's hauntingly beautiful rendition....many of them must have had serious doubts about turning over the top song of the year to non-country singers! I'm sure there has to be a story behind Adam and Leona being picked to sing it. Why would it ever occur to someone? I wonder if we'll ever find out.

This performance by Adam and Leona was everything I wanted it to be! Adam slayed as usual and he was perfection! So proud of Adam! Keep doing your thing baby and strut your stuff! Now millions more people know his greatness! Leona was wonderful as well. They make a smashing duo!

BTW. Somewhere at the beginning of that broadcast it said it would run again after the first broadcast. I just checked, and it's starting now, so if it stays on, we will be able to watch Adam and Leona's performance again in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Hurray!

They NAILED it!!! And Adam, as always, just KNOWS how to do a duet to perfection. I think he made a few jaws drop tonight. He made the song his own but stayed true to its origins. Looked like the audience really loved it, and I'll bet some of them were skeptical about this duet. He's a master. And it's not just his voice alone. It's his nuance, and phrasing and subtlety, too. He's just a pro in every way.

When I heard that ADAM & Leona were going to sing Girl Crush on CMT Awards show I went to Ytube to hear the original w/lyrics & immediately fell in love with this song!! ADAM was his usual gracious .. charming .. superb self & Leona has an incredible range too. The artists were almost in tears in the audience they appreciated ADAM & Leona's rendition so much!! Going to watch it again & again as often as I can this week ... it's supposed to be on multiple times .. different days!! LOVED it so much ... ADAM sure gave Nashville a chance to see what a pop SuperStar can do with a country song!! Good job ADAM & Leona!! So PROUD!!

Kudos to WBrothers for working to get Adam gigs that will expose him to larger audience. It's what he's needed all along. He changes hearts and minds every step of the way. A gay male pop star and a British female pop star singing a country song. It worked.

The Billboard video is a much better quality than the YouTube.

Billboard wouldn't allow me to watch (Canada) but I LOVED the youtube video - Adam's winning everyone over, genre by genre, smile by smile, song by song.
