Wow! Way to go, Adam! Terrific!!! Nobody (today) can sing that song better. How did he/they put that together so quickly?...real pros! LOVE the costume, too. More, More!
A shining tribute to Bowie - LOVE his iridescent outfit and twinkling chains and lime green creepers - and LOVE watching him dance. Lucky crowd. (what, me jealous?)
Thanks so much for the vids.
Nanbert,
That's a huge part of Adam's expertise in his field. Take a song, any song and make it work. He did demos before American Idol and that was his job. (It paid poorly) People gave him new music and he was expected to 'bring it together' for them.
In the case of "Let's Dance", Adam has covered that many many times so he could tell his band exactly what he wanted it to sound like. He doesn't wait for anyone to make a song work for him, he can and does do it himself.
lollymop.. I know...you're "preaching to the choir". Adam can always make a song his own.. and "Let's Dance" has been in his pocket for a long time. However, the band's arrangement had to be brought together in a very brief time, lighting planned, etc. in order to insert a completely NEW song into the set list. Surely Adam coached them to get the right accompaniment -- but they must have had practically no practice time. All PROS!
