Congratulations Queen & Adam Lambert, who have won the first SSE Live Award to take place at The SSE Arena, Wembley following their incredible show in February 2015!
Brian May of Queen, said: "WOW. Nice. Well. BIG THANKS SSE Folks … for a wonderful compliment. We’re very proud to be your favourite act of last year - by a huge majority. Humbled, grateful and definitely up for a rematch!"
Queen drummer Roger Taylor said: "Fantastic that we have made so many people happy, 300,000 thanks!"
Adam Lambert said: "It was such an honor to play Wembley with Queen, and I am beyond humbled by this."

Me too! Glad we did.
It's especially interesting since they refer to "winning by a huge majority", which is a surprise. Remember, just a few days (3 or 4?) before the closing date, QAL had fallen into second place, and we Glamberts went into "siege mode" to bring QAL back to first place. I'm sure Queen fans were voting like mad, too, but we still can take a lot of credit for supporting these amazing artists.
QAL is really a PERFECT "marriage"--- I believe every bit as good as when Freddie Mercury was the frontman! It will be criminal if they don't eventually release a DVD of their world tour -- FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS -- this is a BIG part of Queen and Adam's LEGACIES and deserves to be permanently preserved! Let's all keep requesting that often and regularly ...O.K.?
