I really love all the untraditional costumes he wears.
I remember on a morning summer concert show with Kris Allen and David Cook (can't remember who else was there) thinking Adam was the only person on stage who wasn't dressed like he was going to plow the north forty or rustle up some cattle right after the performance.
This golden skulls staging is very striking and Adam looks so artistically poised in it. Adam simply fits onto every sort of stage or environment. These are some of the beautifully designed stagings so far, for me: Lucy in Tokyo with spinning lasers on Adam while singing...the Singapore Countdown / a kind of tech/robotic design and...the golden skulls / Melbourne...creatively arresting / crew with a sharp mind's eye. There are definitely others, I have not come across yet. Oh also, Queen's laser-cone configuration on the round table stage.
