'Welcome To The Show' debuting on AI...Mmm, new oxygen a-brewing on AI? They needed you at the beginning, now they need you at the ending. Are you spearheading a new dawning, a new ship to replace the outgoing boat. 'Welcome To The Show' seems more like a beginning not an ending. You said it was soooo exciting, so...I'm making a wild guess, your own brand new show? Oooh-la-la!

My original prognosis was Adam had landed a tv/musical cast because he emphasised sooo excited; if it was just singing a new song, he probably would be excited but not so worked up. lol!

@Lam-My: You're thought has me really excited!!! Adam is open for new things, he loves new projects. I'm just not sure if he's ready to settle down into a show and give up being a recording-/touring artist. Also he loves to make music too much, putting out his own original material. Ontop of that he couldn't really start the show until late Summer, so why announce it now? Yes, Adam likes attention, he wants people to listen to his music, come to his shows etc. but I don't think he's that kind of person, that would in a way hijack the last season of American Idol and make it all about him? Well, ok, it's just a show of the last season, not the very last show.
I gotta hand it to you, the lyrics do seem very suited and quite personal to Adam, they just fit...and yes...the amount of EXCITMENT in his tweets does seem like there's more to it than 'just' a new song. But lets be honest. The guy is sleep deprived^^...I wouldn't count on anything!

So lets say it is a new show: What would it be about? Would he introduce people who are different and give them a voice? His life is already known so I highly doubt it's a show about him as a person and his life. I think he's over that.

I'm giving this WAY too much thought!

Hi Marion... It's a little strange to sing a song with 'Welcome To The Show' connotation on AI at its closing Season 15. lwl!
On the other hand it may not be referencing AI; he says "brand new" which could be the new song release as a single or a new spin-off show in which he's involved.

I don't think Welcome To The Show has anything to do with AI. To me, it's Adam's statement about himself and his music. I hope it's a great song and resonates with millions. I hope it becomes an anthem that is heard everywhere. So many of Adam's songs (from any of his albums) would be great on TV shows, commercials, movie themes, etc. When I'm watching or listening, I often think about an Adam song that would be perfect for that situation. Hope WTTS is a hit!
