Adam Lambert, Iggy Azalea and Guy Sebastian took a selfie together on the first day of auditions for season eight of X Factor Australia. The trio will serve as judges on the long-running talent show and seem to have struck an instant bond. “These contestants are in good hands,” Guy wrote on Instagram. Of the three, he has the highest-profile in Oz (12 top 10 hits and counting) and will be an early favorite as far as getting viewers on side.
However, don’t underestimate Adam and Iggy. “I am very excited to join X Factor in Australia and am looking forward to helping people shine their brightest,” the “Ghost Town” singer told the Daily Telegraph. “Australia has always been one of my favorite places to tour. The Aussies I’ve met are so kind and good humored – so the thought of getting to live in Sydney is exciting.” He’s destined to charm with his enthusiasm and talent show experience. After all, he’s one of American Idol’s great success stories.
