I lost my own gay son years ago but I am so thankful to Adam Lambert for all he does. His mission in life is simple; be real and make others happy with his beautiful voice and soul.

I don't post much anymore...life is so hard and I don't have the heart or the humor to join in often .... But this performance simple touched my heart ... I'm so sad for all who lost their lives and so proud of our Adam for his actions and words .

If your out there I wanted to share what I wrote with you, Just my thoughts as always :

Today our hearts are heavy
Our souls can't take it no more
For the darkness in humanity came knocking on our door.
Our sanctuary fractured ...we searched for cause in vain,
Our world quickly crumbled, and normal went insane.
We'll grieve for the fallen and celebrate their lives
But somewhere in tomorrow hate still grows and thrives.
It's existence is ancient, it's blackened heart a twig,
Any word of its banishment, clearly just a myth.
Love is it's enemy and tolerance it's shame,
Ignorance it's mentor and death it's only fame.
So we must stand against it...those like you and I
Who embrace our diversity with honor and with pride.
For hate is a liar it knows no hope or truth,
And if it overcomes us what ever shall we do.

Rose Petal ... Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem with me. I've been crying off & on not only for this tragedy but also for the unrest in our country since this political fiasco has begun. I feel so helpless not being able to do anything ... all I can do is Pray to GOD in whom I truly trust to bring us out of this horrible darkness so that we can once more walk in the sunlight without fear & hate!! I'm also praying for the victims of all this madness that has come over our country & other countries of the world ... Thank you for putting into words what my heart has been feeling!! Love 'n Light

Yes Rose Petal, I'm here.......teary eyed and with an aching heart. As soon as I heard the news I was filled with fear. I knew my g'son would know some of the victims. He worked with many gay friends at Universal and DisneyWorld.
His girlfriend has been keeping him informed. Several young men were wounded and now he knows that two didn't survive.

I feel so sad that we have passed on to this generation a world so broken.
You can always speak from your heart to our hearts. Bless you.

You described very beautifully the sadness in my heart too. You brought hope to us in your poem, thank you for that. I wish for light and consolation to you and all the fans here and everyone involved in Orlando tragedy. Kindred

Profoundly moving performance... deeply heartfelt... feels straight from Adam's soul, as he pours his heart into this song he dedicated to these victims.

I can't even imagine the intensity and range of thoughts and feelings that Adam, the LGBQT community and the family and friends of the victims have been grappling with this week.

Praying...
