Very dramatic eye-catching "water" poster, as if Adam just rose from the sea, a handsome giant with legs standing firmly, under the sea; great imagination!

Lam-My, Dannielle is on team Trump, same as you.

Hi Lollymop!
I kind of lean towards Team Trump; you know me by now to some extent...I like innovative minds. Mr Trump comes across pretty rough and tough, but I have to admit, he speaks with authority, power which is a prerequisite of being a leader; a leader basically does not follow; only if it benefits a lot of people, he may relent. I go for results...a man who has amassed such enormous success and wealth in a global context, to my mind, makes an effective President.
Bottomline: I still can't be sure because there's no past events as a President that I can fall back on. But in short, he moves things and not let them fester till they're beyond redemption.

Well, you may not agree with what I'm going to say: He reminds me a great deal of Singapore's LKY! very firm, fair, clean, no ding dong bell! lol! On the matter regarding clean...no one, not even Mr Trump with all due respect, comes close to LKY...because as a double-first-class lawyer / Cambridge England, he knows, all it takes is one gross act of dishonesty, it's as good as finished, finito!

I'm not at all familiar with Singapore's politicos so I will take you at your word they are as you say they are. I'm definitely not on team Trump and I hear 'dishonesty' is his middle name. (wink) That's just what I hear. I'm a registered Independent voter which means I consider all candidates. I don't have to follow party lines. I eliminated Donald after about a week into his campaign.

November 8 is the day we find out who wins. It seems we drag out the election process way to long but then on the other hand it gives needed time to find out their true colors. It's especially needed when someone who is not a long time politician, like Trump, to find out all about them. Hillary has been under the microscope all her life where as Donald has had the luxury of lots of private life, not being a politician.

I know this isn't a place to get into 'politics'. It is, after all, about Adam. But I can GUARANTEE you that Adam is NOT a Trump fan - nor am I. 'Enuf said -

Adam previously commented on his feelings about Trump and I agree wholeheartedly.

I am biting my tongue to keep from "unloading" on Trump.
So I will just say I went to a children's 3rd of July parade
yesterday. They marched to a very catchy military type beat.
"Trump Trump Trump, kick him in the rump.....
Roll him up and throw him in the dump, dump, dump."
(repeat...repeat...repeat)

Music to my ears.

Whoa! looks like I'm badly outnumbered...Sorry Mr Trump, not my intention at all. My gut says to give you a chance.

I am horrified, this should not be on this site. Sorry Danielle, I am biting my tongue.

It's too bad people just can't take the picture of Danielle for what its worth, two people in love who have different opinions but it doesn't really matter because they have love and respect for each other. Way to go Danielle, cute guy! And another thing if you think America is crazy now over who gets elected president just wait till the election and after. Hope it doesn't divide this country more than it already is. Now the reason we are at this site..... Nice picture of Adam!!!!!

Lam-My I remember you posting you get your US news from CNN. They are notoriously Pro Republican, so I understand your position. But I'd like to say Trump is 70 years old and has blown many more chances to do good than the average person. He's not an innocent just now getting involved in politics. He's a wheeler dealer self grandizing brutal business man. Like Adam I don't know how anyone can take him seriously.

krismidas said...

I have a hard time believing that Danielle is really a trump supporter. It would surprise me if anyone in Adam's inner circle of open, progressive, creative friends would even lean Republican, let alone support someone as off-the-rails as "the donald".

Maybe Danielle and her beau just decided to stage this photo as a 4th of July, exercise-your-right- to-vote message, and the shirts don't necessarily reflect which candidate they support. I hope that's the case.

Dee R Gee said...

I do.not for one second believe that Danielle is a Trump supporter. I agree with you Krismidas. I think this was a kind of "freedom to choose" thing. I cannot IMAGINE her supporting Trump. Hope mot.

I saw this (photo) earlier and have since had some convos with some of my close Adam Lambert fan friends, privately..

I personally share the opinion with @krismidas that the photo MAY have been more of a statement to "be sure and exercise our right to vote, no matter who you support.." and not a statement of support for *that* particular candidate. I do find it a bit puzzling that Danielle would support Mr. T., but on the other hand, anything is possible and we all have the right to express our preferences for candidates for public office.

I WILL go on record here (for what it's worth) that I do follow politics closely, I listen to both sides in any contest, and I can state with certainly that I do not feel that Mr. T. is a good representative for our country or would be a good leader, for many many many reasons..which I won't go into here, as this is not the place to do so. I don't like to talk about politics here as this is a fan blog in support of our man Adam Lambert, but because the subject came up, here we are..

In the words of Mr. Lambert #ThereISaidIt

The man in the photo with Danielle is her boyfriend Casey by the way...

I have to agree with Adam (see the link to his tweet below) on this one... not because he said it and I'm blindly following his lead (not at all), but because I feel the same way and have felt that way from the moment Mr. T.'s candidacy was announced.. I honestly thought at first that it was a joke, to be honest...

@adamlambert My thoughts on American Politics.... #thereisaidit

I don't now who the guy is with Danielle. I also think the message was no matter which side you support, it's important that you exercise your right to vote. I doubt very much if Danielle would ever in this life support Trump, and I certainly have read what Eber Lambert thinks of him. Nuff said.

@Artemis
I mentioned in my comment above that the guy in Danielle's photo is her boyfriend Casey, an LA dejay... :)))

Allysa Mentor said...

I guess I can understand the message, although I would under no circumstances wear a Trump t-short. I guess my issue is, WHY. IS THAT PICTURE ON THIS SITE..?????

Because Adam 'liked' it on Danielle's Instagram.

Ok then I stand corrected

Lollymop...Okay, got your gist on Mr Trump; but even if I watch him on CNN news, it does not automatically mean I agree with all their views; that is too narrow! I base my leaning towards Donald Trump on his actual words, his directness, no-holds-barred, off-the-cuff talks/speeches. Yea, they may lack political specifics as how he would implement the pressing issues etc. but he diagnosis them quite starkly. If one can't define/diagnose a problem/situation...how does he/she actually solve it. He also dares to take on the big boys/companies, like Fox apologised for what he claimed he was "badly treated". That strikes me as someone who can wrangle/subdue a tough opponent. From his demeanour, I could feel he is not as bullish as he appears to be; in fact, he's approachable. Again, repeat, I do not know him in depth...but I can gauge a person by his words/actions/results.

Lam-My You're more than welcome to come take him to Singapore. Please! ASAP! I'm willing to make the sacrifice.

Lam-My said...

Lollymop... If only LKY were still alive; we still miss him a lot! Yea, Singaporeans waited in the rain for his cannon-driven coffin to pass on miles of roads; they wept openly and yelled his name as his body in the Singapore flag-draped coffin, passed.
Whoa! if Donald Trump meets Lee Kuan Yew...oooh-la-la! That is it! By the way, I'm not sure about the majority Singaporean opinion of Mr Trump. You may get half on your side. lwl!
Nice talking to you.

Lam-My , I am on your side. I used to be Democrat but I switched to Rep when Obama run for president. I I was dissapointed everyday to see what Obama has done to America and much more dissapointed on Hillary when I get to know her better with all the facts. I started to agree with Trump 's diagosis, research and his analytic skills. His judgment is good. As you know, In the past We have learned that no presidents can do all of whatever he want to do without the party agreement . They are all "controlled" by the party.. Therefore, even mr Trump cannot do all of his wishes, he will be still much better than Obama and Hillary. Cannot have 8 more years of Clinton ...enuf is enuf. The beautiful of this picture is Danielle and Casey can have their own belief or opinion without getting intimidated by others and still can be friends/lovers or whatever.

Hello Julianne!
I agree to much of what you said and understand somewhat the workings of your Government. As you pointed out very well...Mr Trump may not be able to override some of the majority party decisions, and that is why I think he would be the best person in these tumultuous times to unite both Parties and steer America forward in unison rather than split down the middle, in many crucial issues. He comes across to me as someone with conviction, not easily swayed left or right but will relent if he thinks it benefits America, his main goal. In short he has the power! to hold the reins, his immense resources/connections to do what is right for the American people; and the right decisions or wrong for that matter, affect the world at large.
Thanks for your response!

Presidents, once elected, are not "controlled by" the party, in the strictest sense. But they ran as a Democrat or Republican, because they follow those basic party "lines". The government is divided into three equal parts - the Executive (President), the Senate and the House (of Representatives)... all elected officials.
Since we are basically a two-party system, depending on the latest elections, there may or may not be a majority of one party in control. That is... the President might be Republican, and the Senate and House both Democrat... or ANY OTHER combination.
For a bill to pass, it must have a majority vote in the House, in the Senate, and then signed ..or vetoed...by the president. Lately we have had such gridlock in the government that very little has been accomplished. The parties have been so dedicated to their own goals and livelihood that they are UNABLE TO COMPROMISE so that any progress can be made....don't think there are enough true "statesmen" to compromise on anything these days! Damn Shame!

Nanbert said...

I might add that Trump as President would be a disaster. He's already caused such division within his own party that his presence would divide the Republicans even more than they are now. There are still many desperately hoping somehow to "Dump Trump" by the convention, and some who are not going to support him. Even three of his prospective "candidates" being vetted (investigated) to be his running mate (Vice President) have withdrawn their names from consideration.

I would be ashamed to have Trump represent our country. He is a braggart, a bully, a bigot and a narcissist.... for starters. His name-calling and appealing to the lowest common denominators and brawlers in our country would drag our country down into the gutter with him. What little civility and manners we have will be forever tarnished by his example to our youth! And he is so thin-skinned that, God forbid, he should ever get his finger on "THE BUTTON"! Such an unpleasant person! Completely unsuited to be our President. And he will never be able to bring about the compromises needed to run our country effectively.

Lollypop... I will happily share the postage with you to send Trump to Singapore!
