"Fringe Benefits #queen"

This photo has to be the best "Adam Lambert, Rockstar" photo (so far...) of the Queen + Adam Lambert Asia Tour 2016

Nice photo -- Adam does strike a lot of great poses. Does anyone besides me think his voice is still improving? It seems to be getting richer and fuller...

I think the Queen catalog offers challenges to his vocal abilities that allows him to stretch and increase his already phenomenal skills. The fact that this concert series is a limited engagement of 9, albeit strenuous, allows Adam the opportunity to go all out on a higher scale than if he had to pace himself for a longer series of 20 or 30 engagements. Touring is not a sprint, it's a marathon. And as many have mentioned, his comfort level with the material, with the band and crew, the Queen culture, and the high level of physical support - all lend itself to this new level of perfection.

I love how Brian and Roger have stated that they have raised their levels with Adam and are playing better than ever. This is a new golden era for QAL.

Beautifully said, Anonymous8! The Queen "phenomenon" has cocooned Adam so he has been able to develop and burnish his extraordinary skills more than most performers would ever have the opportunity to do... because he is not JUST a singer.

I can't imagine any other platform that could nuture, display, and grow his talents as QAL has done. Brian and Roger have been wise hands-off mentors, and given Adam the freedom to continually explore all the avenues of "himself". And they are always there to "catch" him, wherever he goes in his improvisations.

Playing LIVE at such an extraordinary level of musicianship has constantly challenged all of them-- but certainly made it more exciting and fun for them.. and us. Adam's penchant for never performing a song quite the same way twice (when given such freedom) keeps everybody on their toes and continually challenges the band to play at their most flexible and highest level.

Long live QAL... or whatever they become in this thrilling and evolving collaboration!

I concur with these posts! Adam is outdoing himself the More he goes forward with Queen. And lucky us to be there for it!

It is also worth mentioning that Adam did not have to up his game, push his boundaries or take more risks as he has done thus far - his vocals and performance levels were superb as is. He is always on the path of self discovery which is a sign of a true artist.
