Nice! Now this one is VERY effective. I REALLY like Sharka's poster-style works -- using photos, and incorporating them into inventive and mood envoking backgrounds. I don't care as much for her/his? digital portraits of Adam -- usually not very good likenesses -- just my personal opinion, I realize.

The words IDOL and ICON mean the same thing. Although I know what they meant in the picture. I thought ICON would mean someone older, maybe this is a bit premature, Adam hasn't had enough time to be an ICON, might be when he is Brian Mays age. So many people still have not heard of him, but he is well on his way to becoming and ICON. JMO.

Well ... I took it to mean from American IDOL to World ICON!! Am I wrong or is this just my interpretation of this fabulous picture?? No matter ... either way I LOVE it & I think the artist is an ARTISTE!!

I love this artwork! Very effective poster. I believe that is a Jewish star of David outlining around Adam's head.

One of the definitions of "Icon" is "a person who is very successful and admired"..

I think that fits Adam Lambert to a "t"...

From American "Idol", the TV show.. to worldwide star/"Icon"..

He may not have the ultimate "legendary" status yet, but in some ways, he's already there.. and who knows what his ultimate legacy will be.

As I said, I understood they were talking about A. Idol to Icon. Very clever, because he has become a star known world wide in just a few years. I also said he is well on his way, not exactly an A1 lister yet, but that is right around the corner too. I have a very high regard for Adam and his God given talents, from voice, beauty of inner person, beauty of looks, his work ethics, and all around sweet guy, but I will never idolize him, that's not fair to him, and IMO he doesn't want that either. As a fan who knows him as well as any of us are allowed to, I definitely admire him, and know within in my soul, he will become a voice that will be noticed for many years to come.

An "IDOL" is someone you look up to, love and/or admire, for their special talent, abilities, or qualities.

An "ICON" is someone of enormous stature in their chosen field... earned/proven over a lengthy period of time.

An "IDOL" is personal... an "ICON" is for everyone.

Adam is an "IDOL" now......and an "ICON" in the future!
