Wow... finally got to see the BLACK ROBE on video! Certainly regal... wonderfully hammy... tongue-in-cheek...losing a tiny bit of gravitas due to the flashes of knee now and then.... but, all in all..... GREAT FUN!

Adam has wonderful carriage for a flowing robe like that, and the hutzpah (sp?) required to pull it off. And he certainly DID, IMO! Hope he keeps it.

BTW, wouldn't you love to hear Brian and Roger's comments on Adam's costumes? Haha... I guess, after Freddie, they hardly raise their eyebrows!

Brian did tweet, " You should see him when he gets dressed up". LOL

Don't you wonder if Brian and Roger ever have any INPUT on Adam's costumes? I have the oponion they sort of let him "run loose" in general.

Why would they want to put a "lid" on Adam? If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Besides, Freddie knocked down all those barriers a long time ago... it's Queen, for goodness sakes!

I bet the one place where Brian and Roger took a stand was wearing costumes themselves... cause I'll bet Adam tried to get them to!

I like the fact that Adam likes dressing up, and does dress fully covered, not like Freddie, who sometimes was barely covered. I thinks the way Adam dresses is much sexier, the way he does it. For reasons of his own, and I know some of those reasons, from listening to his interviews, he will always be fully clothed. His voice is enough for me, and I don't want anything to take away from that. Not only do Roger and Brian wear costumes, it would seem they might be in competition with Adam. He stands out with what he wears, as the front man. They were fortunate in finding Adam, not just for his voice and good looks, but he adores dressing in costume. For him it is the whole package of singing with Queen.

Anne Marie--- I agree wholeheartedly that the way Adam dresses is much sexier. He has a perfect masculine silhouette for clothes--- which is why I hate to see him break up his great "lines" with shorts/skorts/dropped crotches, etc.

I also love the fact that he likes dressing up. But thank goodness he is not interested in running around in little white shorts...so far. The fact that he admired that in Freddie does make me a bit nervous at times. I know I sound like an old lady (which I am)-- but to me, leaving something to the imagination is MUCH sexier than showing everything. It's easy to get jaded. And Mr. Universe-type builds actually look "deformed" in clothing.

Adam is carving out his own niche beautifully -- he's one-of-a-kind! Blessed with so much talent, beauty, personality, intelligence, humor and charm. I'm glad he turned up while I am still around to enjoy him.

I don't think Brian, Roger or John ever told Freddie what to wear onstage. I pretty sure that Brian and Roger don't give Adam input about his stage attire. But I'm fairly sure that they like most of it. Adam knows how to make stage costumes an integral part of the show. He uses them like props for fun and flair and fashion statements. Nobody wears and big black feathery jacket like Adam Lambert.

Or a big red fuzzy "Elmo" jacket.....
