Just saw these pictures of this new tattoo and a closer look at the new hair color. I love the meaning of the phrase; it certainly suits Adam. So I wonder what is inspiring Adam to change his hair color and to get a new tattoo. He certainly keeps us interested with whatever changes he makes in his life, with his style or with his music. Can't wait to see any of the videos that will come(I hope) from these concerts in Japan with the band and audience members dressed in variatins of yellow and black for Trespassing.

I hope Adam doesn't go too crazy with tattoos up and down his arms,legs or his chest. But that's just me. Still not sure about the change in hair color, but I think I prefer the dark Adam rather than the light one. Tall, dark and handsome has always been my preference in men and with his leather outfits, Adam had a certain vibe that just got to me along with his amazing voice, of course. Whatever he decides, I will still be a fan because he is the best vocal talent in the music industry today along with being so articulate, candid, charming and smart. It seems like he is having a great time in Japan.

I love the tat not so much the hair. needs some colors like blue or purple. my opinion. It reminds me of the professor in Back To The Future(so bad). Looking forward to the concert though. Maybe they will shine colored lights on the hair lol.

Like how tattoos give any person the individuality they want to express. What exactly does this tattoo say. I think I understand but not certain.

I hope this is the last of his tattoos or at least just on the inside his two arms and nothing else because these are things you cannot just do over or change like hair color. It's why I don't mind his hair color and style because they easily can be changed. Never like tattoos. But that's just me. But for rock stars, I guess it's expected.

The reason I like Sauli's tattoos so much is because they are beautiful, photograph well and have a theme. It's about nature, flight with flowers, birds, his star sign etc. Adam's are rather large and don't really seem to have a connection to each other so are not as aesthetically appealing to me. I do love the new tattoo and Japan has some of the best tattoo artists in the world.

At least he didn't go Tommy's route who has ugly faces tattooed on his body...for me they don't really have a connection to each other and don't appeal to me at all. But at the end of the day tattoos are very personal and if it means that much to him then good for him. I have a feeling living with a boyfriend who is equally experimental with his body and hair will lead to some interesting changes through the yearss :)

Tat looks sexy on him. Of course, everything looks sexy on him. And, of course, the message that the tat conveys is perfect. I've been saying this, but once again,I kinda like the hair now that it's softened up a little with the darker shades. He has the cutest profile. So boyish, yet so manly, all in one.

it looks to me that he has further dyed the hair blonder..in the vid it shows he has dark roots..but sitting in the chair getting the tatoo..his hair is bleached all out..I like the dark hair with blonde hilites the best..but with Adam..he's gonna do what he's gonna do..and I love him no matter what..btw, someone posted that there would be no tour cause his album isn't selling..but, Adam promised that there would be..I guess time will tell..I was in Wal-Mart today and did not see any Adam albums on the shelves...?????

Thanks Adamluv for the background/origin of the line from the Congreve play. I guess through the decades the word "beast" had been used interchangeably with "breast" as a misquoted word in that line. I think it fits Adam perfectly but don't want him to become a walking billboard with all kinds of tats and phrases. Someone posted that there would be no tour because the album isn't selling. I had read this statement previously somewhere and not just in reference to Adam but to other artists whose albums don't sell. I don't know how true this is. I hope not for Adam's sake. I suppose the money that has to be put out for a tour must be recouped to pay for all expenses and then to have a profit so everyone is paid. I would love to see Adam do a tour for Trespassing with some songs from FYE and even one or two from Queen added to it. Probably the next several months will let us know about any plans Adam has in the works plus what the new single will be. Being a judge on Idol is probably not happening, but maybe there are other tv opportunities being considered by his mangagement team that we are not privy to at this time. I just believe that a person with so much talent, stage presence and charisma needs to be out there in front of people doing what he does best and that is performing.

I don't think Nigel or anybody else will make any decision until Ryan Sea...f...crest come back from UK. He is making all decisions for AI future judges. And we have very good example that Ryan is one of most powefull persons in American Music Industry for today. Even if they will announce judges names tomorrow, this is going to be Ryan's final decision. I know he likes Adam, but Adam management can't pay so much money to Seacrest to get this brilliant opportunity for Adam.

This has got to be so frustrating for Adam and his management. To have a performer with this much talent and all the other attributes that go with it, and to not have him sell millions, is just a travesty. The clueless masses have left him behind, even if they "loved" him on Idol. Yes, there are still many fans out there, but the trick is how to attract new ones. He needs to get on network TV, bigtime. That's the only way to get lots of people to see him. OR get him on a very popular cable show. People are not hearing him on the radio, and his TV gigs have not been big mainstream shows seen by general general viewers. PLL should help because apparently it is very popular. Hope so. He's doing what he can. I think his management knows full well how talented he is and all the rest. But how to get more people on board is the question.

it really is a mystery as to why Adam is not way more successful...he is, without a doubt, the most talented artist out there (or has even been out there as far as I am concerned)..I being gay, or having gotten drunk in public is holding him back..then why aren't all the other gay and drinking artists doing well??? I just hope that he can stay in the public cause I love him so and so look forward to reading about him and hearing his beautiful voice, wheather singing or speaking...such an amazing and talented performer in so many many ways....

@1:59PM I know the answer on this question. After Idol Adam was one of most popular idols after 8 seasons. Nobody cared that he is gay! Adam was invited in all big events. As you know New York New year eve show is one of the biggest shows in American Music Industry. And Adam had to permorm on this event.And just one little mistake cost Adam a lot. They still don't let Adam to perform in live shows. Adam released just 2 singles from FYE and it took two and half years to release new album. Success always depends from the number of fans who buy a singles and albums. And Adam doesn't have as many fans as Adele, GaGa, Munaj or Bebier. Also, Adam has very bad management which never promotes him. He has to work very hard to promote his albums by himself.
After all, Adam's two new singles weren't the best choice from new album.
I know a lot of members of Glambert's family will disagree with me. However, this is my one opinion. And I love Adam and will follow him forever.

What will NEVER change is my respect for him and the way I feel when I listen to his voice and the songs he has written. I'm probably among the minorities but I loved loved Adam's AMA performance. Didn't see anything wrong with it like others did and I love FYE track and music video a lot. What the media did to Adam after his performance was so totally un-called for and discriminatory.

It's good that Adam is spending time in Japan, I'm sure he won't enjoy Sydney too much the weather here is freezing. Don't mind the new hair but much prefer his darker colour it looked more classy.

Makes me feel better to be reminded that the 2012 releases of other big artists didn't all sell millions either. I think we should all try to look forward and not back, just like Adam does.

And yes, Adam may have dodged a bullet on the Olympics closing ceremonies. He would have been fabulous, but I'd hate to hear about all the Queen purists giving him grief. And I'm really likinh the silver hair, although I do prefer the darker hair, I can for sure live with this colour for a while.

JAK here.....if everyone is thru rehashing the infamous AMAs.....back to the tattoo. Did you notice in the closeup photo that the 'fur' on his arm matches his new hair color perfectly?
....We had only one tattoo in the family for years, my husband's kid brother was in the navy and came home from assignment on a ship in the Meditteranean with a tat on his shoulder, my mother in law cried. It was a small 3 masted sailing ship. He said "Mom, it could have been worse, I was the only guy without a tat and every time we had shore leave they threatened me that if I didn't choose one they would get me wasted and have "This end up" tattooed on my forehead!"

....20 years later my youngest daughter (or as we called her, The Runaway Bride) had cancelled yet another wedding (this one 8 days before the festivities) and went out with friends to celebrate. She came home with a small line of black Chinese characters on the inside of her ankle. I was heartsick and she hastened to tell me she was so grateful that her Dad and I hadn't been mad at her for the expenses (again) of cancelling, that she had the symbol for FAMILY tattoed to remind her to never put us thru that again. Sneaky excuse.

....But she was true to her word, 10 years later she eloped with her Mr. Right...finally!

My dad got a tattoo on his forearm when he was in the Navy at age 19. I was born after he had it, of course. I always saw that tat as just part of my dad. I think tats can be overdone and not tasteful, but sometimes they suit the person. I like Adam's tattoos. They are meaningful to him and suit his personality.

Tampa Bay area has made baby steps. The City Council passed The Domestic Partnership Registry
unanimously recently. It's a small step, but same sex partners can now make medical, funeral and burial decisions for the other.
Also the domestic partner has the same rights as a parent in the education of their partner's dependent children.

Several cities in Florida have also adopted this policy. The movement toward true equality moves so s-l-o-w-l-y.

Just saw Jessie J and Queen. I think she had a good voice on her earlier songs on the closing ceremonies. She has a nice strong voice. But WWRY didn't suit her voice. It's really a guy song, if you ask me. I kept visualizing Adam singing it.

I suggest EVERYONE take a look in the mirror...are you being the change you want to see in the world?

Adam lives and teaches by example to be accepting and non-judgmental. Maybe if more (or all) of us took his queue, the hatred would begin to subside.

@PRS I completely agree. You are spot on. There is enough negativity in the world without this site that is supposed to be about Adam (who represents positivity) perpetuating further words of negative, hurtful and hate filled words. There are some that may not agree with every move someone makes, but can we at least elevate the conversation rather than disintegrate into an uncivil atmospere of anger and hurt.

However, i hate to say it, but i agree with the writer who said the AMA's derailed Adam's career. I honestly think this is true......and it makes me very sad to think of what might have been.

Adam is doing pretty damn well if u ask me! NO.1 in his song Never Close our eyes plus album top 10. In JPN and had been. I. 1 both song and album in several countries. I am sure on e he able to do mOre tv. After Ellen and others have new season and trespassing tour album will go up! Sure pretty little liars will help also quite a bit! I only mentioned that award show to counter act all the crap that was said about it! It'song over oviiously even ABC has forgiven it, he on ABC family! By the way I watch pretty little liar's a couple week's ago to see what it was all about! There was a relationship with 2 girl's making out on it, so big deal!ooks like a soap opera type night time drama, that u need to watch every week to get into it! I think Halloween special be great! Haven't been to this site in months,and I'm not surprised to read all the negative comments once again. Someone even referenced the AMA and the simulation of male oral sex. Oh my. You'll be glad to know I'm leaving again because of the nasty remarks--by some--about his hair and tats. I realize it's a generational thing, but your stanning this guy seems conditional on him complying with your rules. As far as selling, are you, as a fan, requesting his music on a daily basis. All these comments about Adam's hair I find amusing, I personally think he looks good both way's but I remember when Adam shaved his hair so many people from this site did nothing but complain and beg him to grow it back, the same when he grew a moustache and beard, everyone begged him to shave it off, I'm confused, because shouldn't the same rule apply now? Not all fans are the same we all have different tastes, I happened to love Adam's hair as it was but the new color is starting to grow on me this doesn't make me any less of a fan than anyone else, I still love Adam, I even had the pleasure of meeting him when holidaying in LA earlier this year, he's a genuinely lovely guy and his music and voice are fantastic, I respect the fact that Adam is no different to anyone else as far as wanting a change and I'm sure for anyone who may be a little unsure that the new look will eventually grow on them in the same way it might if a good friend suddenly decided to change their look.

That's a very negative comment to make. When questioned re his Glam Nation concerts, Adam has mentioned that Sydney was one of his stand-out concerts. He's given the impression that he likes Sydney a lot hence he's returning there very soon. It is winter in Australia so naturally it's going to be cold in many parts of the country .... that's a given. I am soooooo looking forward to seeing him and hearing him sing live again .... with his new hair colour and his new tattoo. <3

For many fans Adam is not a real person but a character. Since most of them are married women with children I always wonder what are they like in their own home environment. You can have a custom-made car or a particular breed of dog, even a man with the right haircolor and who dresses the way you want, but you can't have a custom-made Adam.

Adam looks great with the new hair.

I know these women want the best for Adam but their world views are not always up to date. For example the Ama's was not shocking for most people. For most of us (I'm an international fan) it was cool (pictures were cool) but the performance itself was below the bar. Adam sang very badly. What I thought about the GNT kissing I tought it was just silly and immature that later has become a burden.

PRS, yes, the negativity really gets going on these sites. It's juicy and, let's face it, people love to argue.
"Are you being the change you want to see in the world?" is a great line. I have heard that also expressed as "Become the change you seek." Same message, different wording. We all do a lot of arguing and complaining, which is sometimes good. But in the end, we have to BECOME the change we want, not just talk about it.

As for the trolls and troublemakers who come here just to stir the pot, well guess what? They often succeed. There is a saying for that, too, which I sometimes use when the situation calls for it:

"The most dysfunctional person in the room has the most power."

It's true. Think about it.

Anon August 2:24PM - Sauli arrived to Tokyo today with the rest of the band. He had some own projects in LA. Adam had a day off and took the tattoo with Brian. Maybe the rest of the gang will take tattoos now that they are all in Tokyo.

@Anon August 12, 2:45PM: Sauli arrived at Tokyo today. It is 3:20AM in Japan now, so I assume he is sleeping next to Adam in some hotel room at the moment. LOL I guess he has jet lag, so he must be very tired. Maybe he does not want any new tattoos 'cause he has so many, but Adam wanted one more and had time to take one, so he did. Just speculating. I love Adam's new tattoo. It's big but it has a meaning as have all his tattoos and has so lovely font.

Just because people have a different opinion does not make them dysfunctional, you can't expect every single fan of Adam's to agree on every single thing he does, that by no way means that he's loved any less. I personally preferred Adam's darker hair, but the more I see of his new look the more I'm liking it. This often happens to me when my hairdresser has suggested a change, sometimes I like it straight away other times I need to get used to it and then I grow to love it until I grow tired of it. So I do understand that Adam probably felt that he wanted a change and I totally respect that, but I do think that some people on this sight need to show some tolerance towards other's opinions, as long as they are expressed in a polite way I don't see the harm.

By referring to people as being dysfunctional your only showing yourself up to be rude and disrespectful. It's OK to have a different opinion, as long as it's not a deliberate attempt to put Adam down.

I totallly agree that it is all right to have a different opinion about Adam's hair, the tattoo,etc. as long as you are not disrepectful or crass in your comments. Just because we are fans of Adam doesn't mean we all think alike or have the same opinions about something he does or says or the way he looks. Let's focus on his music, his talent and making him a very successful music performer accepted and loved in this country as much as he seems to be internationally. I am sure there are people in your family or those of your friends who change something about themselves or do something you don't necessarily like. Do you just give up on them, walk away from them, treat them disrespectfully? If so, you are not much of a friend or relative. Understanding, acceptance and respect are messages that Adam practices in his daily life and comes across in the lyrics of many of his songs. There is enough intolerance, hate and disrespect around us in society today and we don't need to see it on this site. I come to this site to learn the latest about or from Adam, to see new videos or interviews and just for something to brighten my day on an entertainment level. Leave all the heavy stuff for the tv newscasts or the paper.

A gentleman would be discomfited were he to hoist the word "breast" on any part of his bod. Adam's tat means just what it says regardless of its possible derivative source. As for just who is the "beast" is a query that is best left to speculation.

At first i didn't like his hair because he just had it stripped.Now he has differet shades of toner and it looks much better.Of course you can't make him not pretty it's just impossible!Sill like black best!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we need to chill a bit and not place too much importance over opinions on the color of Adam's hair or his tats. We are a diverse group of all ages, etc. and we should feel free to voice opinions about superficial, non important likes without being chastised and accused of not being a real fan. A mean spirited comment that is obviously insulting, like calling Adam a loser or insulting Sauli, who is respected and loved by Adam isn't in the same category as a hairstyle opinion. The AMAs is old news, but some think it has hurt Adam and tired of it or not, it's only an opinion and not worthy of putting down those that believe it has hurt Adam. I think except for one or two trolls, we all love the man, his talent and want him to succeed. If some worry too much it still comes from a concerned, good place, not one of malice. I think we should lighten up and be glad that so many do care about Adam and be kind to one another.
