Adam Lambert has been installed as the $2.50 favourite to be the winning judge of X Factor Australia season 8.
Lambert
joins a new look judging panel this year with Iggy Azalea and Mel B
also debuting on the Channel 7 show with only Guy Sebastian remaining
from last year.
And Lambert is the $2.50
favourite to be the winning judge after landing the under 22s category,
just ahead of Sebastian ($3.00) and Azalea ($4.00).
Mel
B has landed the underdogs category and is the $6.00 underdog to be the
winning judge according to the markets opened by online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au.
The
former Spice Girl is a $5.00 chance to perform one of her old songs on
stage during the series, or $6.00 to take on Iggy in a rap battle.
“Mel
B is up against it by only having the rejects for want of a better
word, but Adam Lambert’s under 22s category has historically been the
strongest so we’ve made him the favourite,” said sportsbet.com.au’s
Christian Jantzen.

Mel B isn't debuting as a judge/mentor on this year's The X Factor Australia. She was a judge/mentor on the show in 2011 and 2012.
And she was a judge on America's Got Talent last season with Simon Cowell!!
