I hope he does clear up the mess of people entering the country. From every country, when I came here, it took us 3 years to obtain the visa we needed, because my uncle who was going to sponsor us, lost his job. After my mother died some years later, another lady, that my dad was engaged to, could not come back after having a vacation here, unless they got married, because if you were not a professional, doctor or teacher, you could not enter the USA for 2 years. Others have had to go to Canada for 5 years before being allowed to come to the US. These criteria's have stopped, now anyone and everyone seems to come in by the thousands, no questions asked. The main point is people coming here must have a sponsor, who is willing to support them, or prove they have a job waiting for them. There should also be a background check, to make sure they are not criminals. I am trusting Trump to get this cleared up, it is long over due.

Where did you hear that the process to emigrate to the US is any less controlled that it always has been??? It still takes a very long time, with extensive background checks and much "vetting" to enter emigrate to the US... In the case of Syrian refugees, it is even MORE extensive.. I respectfully suggest that you are mistaken about the current process of emigrating to the US.

Your comment above: "These criteria's have stopped, now anyone and everyone seems to come in by the thousands, no questions asked." would seem to be misinformed. I'm curious to know where you heard this..

From an article in Newsweek in November 2015.

"HERE’S THE PROCESS REFUGEES HAVE TO GO THROUGH TO ENTER THE U.S."

http://www.newsweek.com/heres-process-refugees-have-go-through-enter-us-398254

Some relevant quotes:

"Refugees undergo the strictest background checks of any group of people entering the U.S. While some lawmakers have criticized the process for not being strict enough, it can sometimes take longer than two years, and Syrians go through an additional screening."

"At this point, less than 1 percent of the global refugee population is eligible to move forward and be assessed by the U.S. government..."

"The refugee background data collected by the government will be run through “at least four independent databases, some of them based on biometrics, some of them based on biographical [information],” says Newland. The State Department maintains that the details of the background checks are classified, but agencies that screen refugee candidates include the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the State Department and the National Counterterrorism Center.

Syrian refugee applicants undergo an additional screening by the Department of Homeland Security, the only refugee group to do so. Syrian refugee cases might be referred for review to the U.S. Customs and Immigration Services’s Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate. If any new information comes to light, such as a previously used name or a different phone number, the entire background screening process is repeated, according to the White House."

"60 Minutes" did an in-depth segment on the vetting of immigrants a few weeks ago. As glitzylady explained in her comment, the scrutiny of potential immigrants is extremely strict. It has NOT relaxed at all. 60 Minutes explained this in detail using experts and people who are involved in the vetting process.

I have also heard multiple times that the even the illegal immigrants from Mexico are not flowing into the US in the huge numbers that many assume they do.

I sympathize with people who have to wait a long time in order to immigrate, esp. if they are coming from difficult circumstances. But the fact remains, we DO have strict immigration procedures.

Come on, guys. I know you love chibis--- they are adorable and all that. But the excuse for having them on this website is when they are AT LEAST dressed,hair-styled, and tattooed like Adam--- and usually identified as Adam as well.

Sorry, but this one does not fill those criteria-- with the possible exception of a little scribbling on the arm.

You have to draw a line somewhere! Please.

@Nanbert, please don't spoil it for others who enjoy CreativeSharka's chibis.

Along with the other Adam chibis, I think this chibi is great. I've seen Adam's hair like that at times and he's been photographed carrying a dog. It's a quirky drawing so it doesn't need to look exactly like Adam.

This chibi/photo is an older one from @CreativeSharka, and is a Chibi created from photos/snapchat video posted by Steve Aoki and Adam Lambert when they were in the studio recording "Can't Go Home" back in Feb. 2016. The photo showed up here again, posted by @Admin Fan because it was used in a tweet @AVRadio, the internet station that often plays Adam's music..

Just to clarify where this came from...

It's definitely Adam.....

A You Tube video of the original Snap Chats from earlier this year.. By the way, the cute puppy is "Uzi", Steve Aoki's dog that is being cuddled by Adam...

We posted photos and this video here on Adam Lambert 24/7 News when they were new...

I remember the photo -- Adam's hair was darker, and so was the dog. I also remember how tired Adam looked... it was very upsetting... he had dark circles under his eyes. Not that I'm suggesting that the chibi should have dark circles under its eyes -- just a memory I have.

Adam had been traveling back and forth through time zones a lot non-stop and he must have been exhausted when he was recording with Steve Aoki.

Rosemary White, sorry if I'm "spoiling it for others" if I have an opinion on a chibi picture... although I fail to see how my remarks can "spoil" something for you/others. You either like it or you don't.

I just didn't think it appeared "relevant" enough. They always require a stretch of the imagination---. No big deal.
