Adam Lambert has hinted at potential collaboration with The X Factor runner-up Saara Aalto.

he 34-year-old singer wowed viewers when he teamed up with Saara for a performance of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody on Saturday (10Dec16). And as he attended the BBC Music Awards on Monday night (12Dec16), Adam teased that the duet might not the last time he joins forces with Finnish singer Saara.
"She’s lovely it was so much fun. Sara is exactly what you see on camera… She’s sweet and down to earth. We had a great time," Adam told The Sun Online, before adding when asked about a future collaboration, "You never know... we had such a lovely time together!"
Saara lost out on The X Factor crown to Matt Terry, who won by an incredibly narrow margin. But if anyone knows what effect a talent show runner-up position can have on a career it's Adam, who was beaten by Kris Allen in the 2009 series of American Idol.
"When you make it to the final you’ve kind of won any way. I was the runner-up when I was on Idol. you get to the end of a show like that you’ve sung every week so you’ve shown the country what you are capable of. There’s no losing," he smiled.

I think that was more or less Adams pat answer for it seems he is always being asked this question.

Adam's answer about "no losing" is tepid at best. lwl! He is about the only runner-up that I know, made it big; usually no one asks about a runner-up. The winner may or may not make it big but at least, he/she has gone right to the peak, it's an achievement in itself, not easily attained, so don't take that away from a Winner. Just for analogy, would Edmond Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing be hailed the first men to climb Mt Everest if they had not reached the summit.

Not all 'Winners' are truly winners!! Sometimes other factors step in to make them the title winner whether they deserve it or not ... case in point ... ADAM & Kris Allen ... Brian Justin Crum & the 12 y.o. girl on AGT ... and now Saara on UK X Factor ... not being a native born Britain was a disadvantage in her case ... so not all winners are the true 'winners' ... IMO!!

OT - have to hand it to the Voice. Not impressed with any of the finalists, but what a line-up they had for their Finale. Weeknd, Sting, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, John Legend........and Kiss, who sang the same song with a country contestant that they sang with Adam! Kelly and John sang duets with 2 other finalists. Mel B made an appearance for a cross promotion.

Kind of wished Adam had a duet stint there as well, would have been the perfect exclamation point for his week!

Well, those propped-up winners due to behind-the-scene string-pulling are undermining true winners. These pseudo winners won't make it big because they actually didn't win in a fair fight! Winners by my definition, fight it out on a level, equal playing field regardless if the competitor is from the host country or of a minority race / gender / background. If it's a talent contest, then talent must be awarded top priority; not because they get more popular votes; if it's just based on popularity or sales or citizen, then those criteria must be clearly stated if that were the case. Rather than string people along to eventually find out they lost even though they were the best as far as talent was concerned.
Do you know why, Michael Phelps felt honoured to be beaten by Joseph Schooling? He knew there was no hanky-panky involved; it was a pure fight!
