Guy Sebastian has nothing but praise for fellow X Factor Australia judge Adam Lambert.
He visited Sony Music Australia recently to promote his new single "Set In Stone" and ended up chatting about Lambert's phenomenal vocal ability:

"I wouldn't say no to something with Adam. He's one of the most incredible male vocalists I've ever heard. That guy hits silly notes that no human should be... [...] Adam's like... he's like, woah. You don't sing Freddie Mercury unless you've got a ridiculous voice!"

Queen + Adam Lambert Virtual-Reality Film "VR The Champions" Will Debut At NYC Tribeca Film Festival April 2017

We've been seeing hints about this, and now we know that this new concert movie with Queen + Adam Lambert will debut in April 2017! It was filmed in Barcelona, Spain in 3D Virtual Reality at the May 2016 Queen + Adam Lambert concert

The film festival segment of the film includes "Radio Gaga", "We Will Rock You", and "We Are The Champions"

The Tribeca Film Festival runs April 19 - 30, 2017

Queen + Adam Lambert will rock Tribeca next year.

The legendary English rock band will debut a part of their VR concert film, aptly titled VR The Champions, during the closing weekend of the New York City film festival, Tribeca organizers announced Friday morning.

The 3D, VR film was shot in front of an audience of 15,000 fans live in Barcelona last May. The production used a four-point wire to enable the camera to capture the band’s performance in a truly immersive way. Three songs will be teased at the Tribeca Virtual Arcade at World Trade Center: “Radio Gaga,” “We Will Rock You,” and “We Are the Champions.”

The incomparable Freddie Mercury passed away twenty-five years ago. Drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May both soldiered on and pursued solo careers. And, as May has decided to explain bassist John Deacon’s absence since 1992′s legendary Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, “[He] is at the beach.” and it would seem that the band would be over.

Well, time passed, and May and Taylor made a risky decision to press on without Fred. They chose to soldier on with their friend Paul “the Voice” Rogers taking center stage as lead vocalist for a couple of world tours and a new studio album, under the moniker Queen+ Paul Rogers. And, American Idol star Adam Lambert has been touring with Queen as lead vocalist for the past few years as well.

Adam Lambert is currently working as a judge on the latest series of The X Factor in Australia, but he has enjoyed an incredibly varied career so far that has seen him tour as the frontman of Queen, star as Eddie in the recent remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and return to American Idol as a guest panelist.

To celebrate his achievements and talent, we have rounded up five quotes from other stars who have publicly expressed their admiration for both his personality and his numerous talents.

1. Harry Connick Jr. joined American Idol as a full-time judge in 2013 for Season 13 and praised Adam Lambert's ability to both connect and empathise with the contestants when he stepped in to briefly replace Keith Urban:
"He was terrific, and having the perspective of someone who has been a contestant was really unique. It was so unfortunate, the circumstances having Keith not being there, but you couldn’t find a better replacement for him. Those shows were exciting. It was really cool."

2. In 2015 Robbie Williams told the Polly and Grant radio show in New Zealand that he admires the vocal powerhouse's talent and would love to duet with him in the future:

Queen drummer Roger Taylor says the band would make new music with singer Adam Lambert if they write something that 'fitted' their legacy

Former American Idol contestant Lambert has been performing and touring with Taylor and guitarist Brian May since he first appeared with the band on the TV talent show in 2009.
Asked whether he has any interest in a Led Zeppelin-style remasters series, Taylor says he'd rather put out new Queen music.
He tells Planet Rock: "If we do anything in the future, I'd like it to be something new. I don't know how new it would sound, but I think if Brian and I could come up with a song or two which we felt fitted, It's quite possible.
"We're really enjoying it. We've just come back from the Far East, which was phenomenal. It's great to know that there's still a demand, and we do love playing with Adam Lambert, who is an incredible singer and a lovely man."

Roger Taylor says it’s “quite possible” Queen will record new songs with singer Adam Lambert in the future.

The band has reconvened for two album projects since original singer Freddie Mercury died, 1995’s Made in Heaven and the 2014 compilation, Queen Forever – but that was only to update leftover material. (They also released an album with Paul Rodgers, Cosmos Rocks, in 2008.) “If we do anything in the future, I’d like it to be something new,” Taylor told Planet Rock. “I don’t know how new it would sound, but I think if [guitarist] Brian [May] could come up with a song or two which we felt, sort of, fitted, you know.”

Lambert has been performing with Queen, off and on, since their 2009 performance together on American Idol. They’ve just returned from a string of shows in the Far East, following European dates in 2012 and then the U.S. in 2014. “It’s great to know that there’s still a demand,” Taylor added. “And we do love playing with Adam Lambert – who is an incredible singer and a lovely man.”

Host Jason Dundas introduced judges Iggy Azalea, Guy Sebastian, Adam Lambert and Mel B to the audience before the contestants made their way on stage.


Five contestants belt their hearts out in the X Factor semi finals to secure a spot in the top four on Sunday night.

Amalia, Davey, Vlado and girl group Beatz with Brooke, Tayla and Elishia were asked to perform two songs each, killer tracks and a curve ball to show off their talents.

The final four will be chosen after Australia's votes are counted and revealed on Monday night following their performances on Sunday.
