A match made in heaven for sure. Praying for a hit coming out of his collab. And maybe even a performance with Nile. I can dream, can't I?

Nick...you didn't like "Shady"? I thought it was great! Oh well....to each his own... you're entitled.

I loved Shady and stil listen to it. Thought is should have been a single.🤞🤞

I love Shady, too. Adam's good buddy and Aussie DJ Byron Cook says it's the best song never heard on radio.

Shady is o e of my all time favorite Adam songs! Surprised that someone doesn't like it!

Loved "Shady". You all are right it should have been a single.
I wonder sometimes who picks the 2nd single for Adam's albums.

If I had the honor of having any say about it, I would have chosen "Sleepwalker" for FYE, "Shady" for "Trespassing" and "After Hours" for "TOH"!

Good picks. The first time I saw Adam perform "After Hours" was at Morongo... on youtube. He was SO languidly sexy in that performance.. Wow!

SHADY was my JAM?? on Trespassing!! I loved the beat ... kind of old school .. IMO ... plus when ADAM performed it on stage he really put some spin on it & made it his & no one could ever do it like him!! Lay Me Down was a fun tune but I liked Shady better!! Who picks out the songs for singles on an album? Does ADAM have any say in the matter?? I heard you have to pay to have your songs played on radio ... is this true?? If so ... who does the paying ... artist or record company?? Just wondering!!

Wasn't Lay me Down the last thing he did with Nile Rodgers?

"Lay Me Down" was recorded with the DJ Avicii. Was Nile on that recording, too? I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Nile Rodgers actually called Adam and asked him to do the vocals on Avicii's "Lay Me Down" track on the resulting 2013 "True" album. As they recalled it, Adam was recovering from a hangover when Nile called him to meet him at Avicii's studio in LA.. Adam obliged, and the rest is history! Niles' iconic guitar licks are on the song..

You're right, Glitzylady. As soon as you said it, it all came back to me. I must have had a "senior moment"!

Whoa, just realized then that when Nick Ackly (at top) said... "hope it's better than the last one they worked on"... I just made the mistake of thinking he meant "Shady", but he might have meant "Lay Me Down", since that was the "last one".

He never corrected me, so perhaps he never saw my response.
