Haha! You got that right, Nanbert. Pharaoh is just like Lassie and Rin Tin Tin and Benji. Can't believe how calm he always is. Wonder if he goes a little crazy when Adam walks in the door??

I had a dog who would cringe, make himself as small as possible, put his tail between his legs, and slink under whatever was available to hide whenever he saw a camera in anyone's hand. We figured it must have been the flash that frightened him.... and he always anticipated it was coming when he saw a camera....even when we weren't taking his photo, or even using the camera at that moment.

Lightning exacted the same reaction. Needless to say, we NEVER got a decent photo of that dog...only a shriveled up, white-ringed eyed, ball of fuzz that would have been good fodder for one of those animal rescue ads! LOL. It was downright embarassing!

Now if Pharaoh could just learn to use the camera and turn it on Adam................

Decorating with pillows is a very exacting science....it's important that the dog on the sofa with them doesn't "clash".

Pharaoh is really a majestic dog, so serene and noble. So suitable for our King of the Queen :). I have never heard him barking at any vids or snaps.

An opposite: Sauli's family has a rottweiler Herodes (sorry to take Sauli's name here), who is still young (he was born last summer) and he seems to be quite a "firecracker" (as Adam called also Sauli in some interview :)).

I wonder how old Pharaoh is, does anyone have a clue? He doesn't seem very young.

I think (just a guess obviously) if it hadn't been love at first sight with Pharaoh Adam wouldn't have gotten a dog at all.
I am amazed at how quick they seemed to have bonded...

@Marielle Linthorst: I think Pharaoh is little over 2½ years old. At least that's how they described him at the Rescue home introduction.

Pharaoh it is bred basenji + chihuahua mix. Basenji is the only dog ​​that does not bark,does not mean it is a dumb dog.When Basenji is upset about something, like it is closed, beeps scream like a woman or baby or a rooster crowing.
