I remember Adam painting this at a radio station thing. The DJ or somebody made a still life model out of fruit. Adam painted from it, including the very phallic banana. Adam added some splash speckles and cleverly mentioned artist Jackson Pollack. So glad he can make those kinds of jokes. Smart guy.

Dee R Gee...this is not the same one he painted during the radio station interview.

I have a "photocopy" of that one, which does indeed include that "phallic" banana in a fruit still life. That was amazingly painted by Adam during a brief simultaneous interview... in Australia or New Zealand I believe.

I was struck then by how artistic Adam is...that quick watercolor sketch was quite good... while at the same time being his usual charming and articulate self!

Oops again! You're right. Just looked similar to me. Adam is very artistic. I remember he once did a black pen and ink self-portrait that got posted some years ago. He has a great artistic eye and a skillful technique.

Dee R Gee......But I can see how you'd make that mistake---there's something about the painting that evokes the STYLE of Adam's work. Maybe some day, when he has more time, he may pursue painting more seriously.
