Wow... Adam's brocade suit is smashing.. Haha, on him it almost looks conservative. What a clotheshorse and handsome devil he is!!!!

He said in the Kelly/Ryan interview that he and Melissa only went through the song once and then just decided to go with it. And the performance did seem very spontaneous to me, kind of unpolished. He said in a tweet that he thought he goofed up on a riff, but they laughed it off. The crowd loved it. He was able to belt his heart out and show his voice to a very appreciative audience. Melissa seemed to really enjoy herself.

I really wish we could hear the whole song from intro to the end. From the several different clips I think they did a great job but it's hard to get the full song so I'm hoping it will be available sometime somehow in the near future!! ADAM looks Superb & sounds so good!! So did Melissa!!

BTW ... was this on TV .. I didn't see it in the listings!! Thanx for posting!!

Unpolished indeed! For starts, that song does not lend itself well to a duet in the first place...it's more of a free-form wailing kind of thing.

But it was certainly loud!!!....kind of a "belter" contest. It didn't do either singer justice, IMO.

Too bad, two unique, superlative voices "cancelled" each other out...bummer! And I was really looking forward to that duet.

It proves that even the best of the professionals need to practice! "Winging" it rarely works!

But Adam looked splendid!

But in all fairness, both singers sounded splendid when singing ALONE....just not very "together" when singing together.

I agree with Nanbert.

Maybe it sounded better in person.

For me it is not one of Adam's good performances.
Adam's suit is particularly beautiful, but in this duet I think it better fit a leather jacket and some jeans. Adam does not match Melissa the way they are dressed.

It was an Awards event & Adam was very appropriately dressed for the occasion.

Adam should have been invited to the Met Gala . .

Loved those radio interviews. The Sirius one was so good. Adam is so confident and seems ready for any challenge. And he said that 2019 will definitely focus on his OWN MUSIC! That is the best news ever! Hope A4 results in a solo tour. It's been way too long.

Both very clear & from the intro to the end ... sounded a little rough but pretty good considering they only ran through it one time before they performed on stage. This was the first time they ever sang together & she seems to have a tendency to scream when she sings ... however ... all in all they seemed to have a good time & the audience seemed to like it!! IMO
