It is his dog Pharoah on the back of his leg. He got that tattoo quite a while ago.

Even for a weekend it does a body good! I need a weekend like this.

You're fantastic, Mirela! You're right...the 19th is my Birthday. Thank you for your good wishes. You must have written it down to remember. I'm very touched. I don't know if becoming 86 is much to celebrate about, but I'm in fairly good health for my age, so I guess I can't complain. And it's certainly better than the alternative...haha.

But you know, we haven't heard a word from Lambert Outlaw for several days....and we all know she'd normally be very involved here over all this good news (Elvis Tribute and QAL performing in the Oscars). I scrolled back a few days and discovered her last comment was on Feb. 12th!

She has explained that her health keeps her housebound, so she spends a lot of time online visiting and chatting here. I believe she's a couple of years younger than me. I know she mentioned waiting for the results of an x-ray on her foot that she hurt when she fell several days ago. Maybe she had to be hospitalized to have it cared for. Or...maybe her computer just broke down.

And, BTW, Mirela, thanks for that link you posted above from "One Country" (Canadian - primarily re: country music) You quoted some very flattering remarks about Adam in the article.

I was also struck with another statement in that article..."Adam had arguably one of the best performances of the night."...Wow, high praise from a country music site! Wonderful!

Yes Nanbert, I noticed that Lambert outlaw has not posted anything Lately, she was very active in fighting negative comments about Adam on youtube. I hope we will have news from her soon.

So I am sitting here WAY overthinking this Oscar thing! Lol I wonder if Adam gets to bring someone as a guest? Or will the band just come all together? Omg the anticipation of all of this is killing me!! Hurry Sunday!!!! And his choice of dress? He is gonna look smashing I’m sure!

I think Adam has gone on this vacation with occasion of Valentine's Day. I hope to return full of energy and completely cured of the flu that he had.Sunday must be in maximum form. Many people have posted on youtube that they will look at Oscar just to see Q + AL.

Glamitup ,I think they will step on the red carpet all the band members together. They are invited as a band to sing at the ceremony.
It might also be that they get to the ceremony much earlier to first make a little rehearsal and to accommodate to the scene.In this case we will not see them walking on the red carpet

I hope they will be as a group,or they may be with with Rami and the others on the red carpet I SO hope Rami gets better respect from the LA crowd than some disgusting people who were outside in the crowd at the BAFTA awards in London, who shouted obscenities at him, when they were walking along the red carpet after the awards,( for working with Bryan Singer) disgusting behaviour and language !! a lady on another site was there said it was awful and upsetting,

All I hope on a lighter note is that Adam doesn't wear anything that awful Kaftan thing he had on in Cabo!!

I'm so glad we didn't find out about QAL being on the Oscars way ahead of time. We would have spent weeks worrying about every little thing. We on edge enough as it is. I'm sure the guys will do just fine. This isn't their first rodeo. Just want Adam to look and sound fabulous, and for him that's not too hard.

Adam has been pretty spot-on in his choice of costumes lately. I always hope/think he checks into his various fan sites from time to time to see what appeals to them...or what they dislike. There are a lot of variables, but I think most Glamberts have the same preferences.... for example.... BLACK LEATHER PANTS!! LOL

He wears clothes so well that he has a lot of latitude in choices. In fact, the only thing I ever actively disliked was a couple of skirt-like outfits he wore. But he's still "OUR GUY" in a burlap bag, isn't he?

Just hope he takes the "middle ground" in his costume for the Oscar performance. Something glitzy and classy!IMO

Happy Birthday Nanbert your a very young 86. I was worried about Lambert Outlaw as well she a sweet lady that dearly loves Adam.
As Dee R Gee has said this is none of their first rodeo at red carpet events and Adam does do very well with formal wear.
Adam was sick last week and I'm glad he was well enough to get away from it all for a couple of days and dress in any thing he felt comfortable in to relax.
One does not need to be a fastion plate every minute he was on the beach or where ever else he was. I also highly doubt he will wear black leather ri a formal event he never has before. He may dress differently on stage than he does off the stage at the Oscar's then he may not. Just being on ybe red carpet are just at the Oscars I'm sure it will be a tux.
There a mess of mean people out there blaming people for what another persons does of they are guilty is dead wrong.
People, fans that care and love for Adam and the others should be so over the moon happy for them. They all deserve this recognition and to perform
Adam as well very much so. Rami is Actor that has done so well with film
And really help them get even more popularity. Adam on the other hand long before the movie came out crossed a bunch of barriers of hate and still does from so called fans of Queen and others and came out splendidly as a damn fantastic frontman for Queen.
He along with the huge talents of this band have put this band way up on the famous map. Certainly the movie helped the hits of old and the band very much.
So happy for them all each member of the band deserves this honor. Rami so deserves to win the movie itself also deserves it.
These men have done nothing wrong the person who is responsible if guilty is the one that bares that responsibility not any of them and Adam was just in a small scene.
This should be such a happy occasion for them all. I hope they kick out any crazies if they cause trouble. The on lookers or any person cant act respectful.
Going in the hospital for a procedure tomorrow early should be back Friday. Hope you hear from LO by then I'm worried about her. So proud of Adam and all these guys.

I have been watching Bohemian R videos with Adam and I really love the long, red leather coat and red leather pants!! That would be cool. I would say he will go with one of his concert outfits but who knows? He might have something new we have never seen before. I am kinda nervous but you guys are right about it not being their first rodeo. Adam is so much more mature and seasoned now so I don’t think nerves will affect him. This has been the longest week ever with the anticipation of Sunday!! Hurry up!!!!!!!!!

Another nerve wrecking moment is to wait till the end of the awards to see if Rami wins for Best Actor and Bo Rhap the movie for Best Picture! Oh yeah and for the other three nominations too. I believe the guys will wear something classy, being that everyone is dressed elegantly at the Academy!

Adam is definitely "in a league of his own." His BSS performance gave us just enough of a hint of Elvis to make it fun but not so much that it was a parody. Perfect balance. Adam has a great instinct for that. And I do love those ankles!

Thanks Dee R Gee, Angeladam, Sue Smith, Glamitup and Sunflower, Mirela (again) for the kind birthday wishes. All that good will makes turning 86 more palatable! The most disorienting thing is that the inside ME is much younger than the outside ME...so it's always jarring when I look in the mirror...meh!

As far as the Oscars are concerned, it's a good thing it will be this Sunday, because having to wait a month or two (like the Kennedy/Cher thing and the Elvis thing) is ovbviously too hard on Glamberts' nerves!

I don't know the rules for the Oscars red carpet, performing, etc. Truthfully, I have rarely watched it. Adam is in a rather unique position. I don't believe he has attended any of the awards ceremonies for "Bohemian Rhapsody", has he?... as he was not actually PART of that endeavor (cameos don't count). So, in this case he will perform with Queen, but MAY NOT walk the red carpet, or even attend the ceremonies.

Another thing has occurred to me. QAL is a massive set-up and lighting project, so it is even conceivable that their performance will be pre-taped for the Oscars. It would be a shame if they were "stripped-back" because of the space and time factors of the Oscars stage....so pre-taping might make sense.

Just thinking about all this... which is uppermost in my mind, as in all of yours....but it's barely possible that Adam will only be seen during the QAL performance. I know...that would break our hearts! Also, it would really STINK! But we have to consider that.
