UPDATED (4/10/20):  Interview from March 27th by a Finnish website (at bottom of post).

Adam Lambert: The Beauty of Being a Master

(via Google Translate:) Adam said the album "VELVET" was a turning point in his career and artistic outlook.  Because in this album, he chose to be completely loyal to himself, spent four years waiting for real inspiration, and completely abandoned commercial considerations.  In the fast era, Adam chose to do something slow, pure, and pleasing to himself.  "Super face to face" dialogue with Adam Lambert.

Adam Lambert, “Velvet”

The title track to Adam Lambert’s brand new album, Velvet, is a shimmery, catchy reintroduction to the pop world and a pretty spot-on representation of his signature sound, given a fresh disco gloss for 2020.

"The Kangaroo goes down under: 'Masked Singer' castoff is infamous reality star"
by Lyndsey Parker, Editor, Yahoo! Music

In this recap of Wednesday night's The Masked Singer (FOX), Lyndsey Parker briefly mentions that Adam Lambert was guessed by Jenny McCarthy to be the "Kangaroo."  The Kangaroo was not eliminated that night, so he did not remove his mask and no one knows that character's true identity.

Lyndsey writes:
Judges’ guesses: Adam Lambert (um, no), Joey McIntyre, Niall Horan.

My guess: It’s not friggin’ Adam Lambert, OK?  (But here’s a funny preview of what a Lambert Masked Singer appearance might look like.)

And here is Adam's comedic appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden from last November that Lyndsey is referring to:

KAAOS (Finland)

KAAOS is a website from Finland that focuses primarily on heavy metal music, but also features rock, alternative, indie and similar.  They interviewed Adam about his new album and about Queen. This is an audio-only interview and the quality of Adam's feed isn't the best, but you can still hear everything he has to say.

Humm...I thought Adam was trying to get away from synthesizers and EDM music...but looks like he's going to play around at "mixing" his own music. Well, he'll probably have a ball messing around with it. It'll keep him home and occupied.

Mi Re La...The "Me and Bro, Neil"are certainly cute photos. And didn't both of them grow up handsome! Interestingly, Adam looks like his mother, but has coloring like his father. And Neil is just the opposite. I suspect their personalities are also quite different.

Thanks for posting all the "odds and ends", Broddybounce and thanks Mi Re La for posting the Instagram link.

I think Adam looks like his mother as an adult but not when he was a child. When they’re together now, Adam and Neil look like brothers except Neil’s facial features are more rounded than Adam’s, he has curly hair and his eyes are brown …. both handsome guys.

Nanbert, I wouldn't worry. That equipment is used for all kinds of music, not just synth and EDM. I'm glad to see that he's learning how it all works. Maybe we'll get a song or two from him in the coming weeks. I know that Adam will continue to surprise us musically for a long time.

Rosemary, you are most welcome! Glitzylady and I always appreciate your continued expression of appreciation, and that of several others who we've also thanked in the past (you know who you are!), for what we do. We'll be the first to admit it's not always perfect — but we do the very best we can, with the tools that we have and the time that we have, and it is our pleasure! <3

Hope Glamberts near and far are keeping safe and well at Easter during this troubled time. Thinking of all those who have suffered and continue to suffer. Let's hope there'll soon be an end in sight to this dreadful virus.
